Dr. Zhu had practiced extensively in both academic and private clinical settings before founding the Interventional Pain Physicians, LLC with partners. He holds board certification in both pain medicine and anesthesiology.
He trained at State University of New York for Surgery internship, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia for his Anesthesiology residency, and then specialized in Pain Medicine via a fellowship at University of Texas. He has served as faculty and attending physician at various academic institutes, including University of Florida, University of Texas in Houston, and University of South Florida teaching hospital.
Dr.Zhu has also been active in research and promoting public health. He is the first author of numerous elegant research articles in the Journal of Neuroscience (the official journal of the American Society of Neurosicence). He holds a Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University, New York, NY and has been involved in clinical studies towards continously improving patient outcomes.

My first appointment was yesterday and I've gotta say that the front desk was very professional and really sweet, Dr was amazing she took the time to listen and explain everything to me I highly recommend this office and I'm very picky.

First visit which are always longer staff was excellent and curious. Doctor Zhu spent time with history talking and examination one of the most comfortable first visits I have had with pain management he did not rush me out and listened and answered question clearly for me.
