Absolutely Wonderful Experience! I had recently been to another physical therapist for herniated disc and a pinched nerve with only a little relief.
My insurance covered both chiropractic and physical therapy and I have had NIGHT & DAY changes after coming to DASHA. I personally did not expect the treatments to work as well as they did but I guess I am one of the lucky ones.
After 2 treatments I noticed a BIG difference, for 4 years I have had increasing neck pain and immobility. After my 2nd session I realized that I was able to turn my head without pain. In all honesty it made me so happy I cried because I have had such chronic pain for the last few years. I am only 1 month into treatments but so far I couldn't be happier.

This office has an excellent method for researching and explaining to you your benefits and what is covered. It was very appreciated that I didn't have to look any of this up (how many appointments I was eligible for, what was covered, what wasn't, co pay, etc. was all at the top of my paperwork when I arrived).
Dr. Ryan has an excellent bedside manner. He explained everything he was doing which was great as a first time chiropractor appointment for me. His assessment for perfectly with my experience. He was very thorough.
I felt so so good after! The adjustment wasn't painful at all. If anything was relaxing and felt great.
Looking forward to future appointments with Dr. Ryan.

Appointment was great. An assistant used some electric pulse pads on my back for 10 mins followed by ultrasound to see where any inflammation was happening and a back massage. Then Dr. Ryan came in for another back massage and the adjustments. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Whole appointment including initial paperwork took about 1 hour 15 mins. No wait time. The facility is nice and felt like going to a spa.

Dr. Ryan has worked wonders for me. I have suffered from chronic back pain since a car accident in 2010. I have never found a doctor who really helped as much as Dr. Ryan has. His office is immaculate, his staff is friendly, efficient, kind and professional which I can appreciate.
Dr. Ryan takes his time to hear your concerns, to discuss options and never makes you feel rushed. He keeps you calm during the realignment sessions and has always made me feel comfortable. With my experiences so far, I wouldn't go anywhere else. My back pain has eased more than it has in years and I can't thank Dr Ryan and his team enough.

Dasha wellness and spa is a rare kind of office that feels like an actual spa, but provides quality medical services and takes a wide range of insurance plans.
I was seen right away by Dr. Ian and he took a lot of time to ask me questions and listen to my comments. The session included a warning pad with electro stimulation, medical massage (which Dr. Ian preformed himself since the massage therapist left for the day - how nice of him!) and an adjustment, which was gentle and in a nice introductory dose since I mentioned I prefer a gradual approach to aligning the body.
He then did an ultrasound test to see more in depth what's going on with the tissues, so he can treat me better next visit.
This is so different than any other typical chiro service in NYC - I'm in aw! Thank you so much dr Ryan for taking the time and your genuine listening and care.

Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ryan and saw him the same exact day. Him and his staff were extremely accommodating and more than responsive in regards to my back issues. Dr. Ryan did not rush me at all and took the time to answer all of my questions with his full, undivided attention. He was extremely detailed in his responses and recommendations for how I can help myself heal at the office and at home. I would highly recommend Dr. Ryan and his staff to anyone in the New York City area looking to fix that lingering back ache. Looking forward to seeing him again in only a few days.

I had seen a previous chiropractor the week before and it was a terrible experience and I was completely turned off. However, I decided to look for another doc since I couldn't take the pain I felt in my back and neck. I decided to go with Dr. Ryan after reading all the positive reviews, however, I still had my reservations.
I was able to get an appointment for a late afternoon for that same week. Everything from the location, distance from the train, his late hours.. all was a plus for me. The office itself gives off a great soothing vibe: everything from the well kept waiting area, to the music played though out my visit, even the tone the staff used when speaking.
The Staff: The staff was fantastic, they called me right away after booking my appointment through ZocDoc to verify my insurance information.The best part (and a very pleasant and appreciated surprise) was that they called me back right away to relay the information they got from my insurance.
The Doc Himself: He was great. Honestly, I was nervous and was very verbal about my nerves. He definitely put me at ease. He said the right things, explained everything thoroughly. He didn't do anything without letting me know what and why he was doing it. He put those electric stimulators on my back, massaged the area, and did an adjustment... all superb! I honestly felt so much better afterwards. I didn't feel rushed. I honestly felt all his attention on my care, which is not something I can say about the other chiropractor i saw.
So would I recommend him, yes! I've already recommended him to a few of my friends and coworkers!

Dr Ryan is an incredible doctor. He gives a thorough exam and spent a lot of time with me, never once did I feel rushed. I describe him as highly intelligent, funny, and caring with a special type of bedside manner that puts you in an immediate state of being calm. He also works in a beautiful and serene environment, the place is spectacularly designed. This allowed me to feel as though my experience began just as I walked thru the door. The whole staff there is extraordinarily accommodating and caring. I can't sing their praises enough. I feel like I just won Lotto after finding this place. I highly recommend Dr Ryan, I highly recommend Dasha Wellness and Spa, I highly recommend the whole staff at Dasha. Thank You, Thank You! Not only do they have me for life, I'm telling all my friends and family to go there as well.
