About Dr. Ethan Knisley
Dr. Knisley is the owner of Union Square Spine and Rehab and main chiropractic physician, where he offers rehabilitation via corrective exercises, adjustments (spinal manipulation) and an array of manual therapy techniques.
Our goal is to not only help rid you of your pain and solve your problem but to empower you to live a more independent healthy lifestyle.
We take pride in offering full focused 1 on 1 treatment with each patient.
Dr. Knisley earned his bachelors of science degree in Kinesiology from Miami University. He then followed his undergraduate education by obtaining his doctorate of chiropractic from Logan University.
He combines his education with the use of multiple post graduate certifications, to provide a unique patient specific treatment. He uses a combination of soft tissue techniques, movement assessments, end-range loading strategies, and joint manipulation to provide a functional approach in treating musculoskeletal conditions. He currently holds certifications in Active Release technique (ART) including nerve entrapments as well as in the McKenzie method (MDT).
Dr. Knisley has been a passionate athlete his entire life, growing up playing competitive basketball and lacrosse. He played lacrosse in college at Miami University, where he earned his degree in kinesiology and began to develop a true passion for health and fitness. It was during this time that he began to develop his own ideas on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and maximizing athletic performance.

Each time I have gone in, he has been thorough in getting to the root of the pain and to help work with the affected area within comfort. I find it especially helpful that he walks through exercises to help addressing the problem at home and to keep working to help alleviate tightness in the muscles. I never have a bad visit.
