About Dr. Ileana Romero-Bolumen

Dr. Ileana Romero-Bolumen is a General Pediatrician who has been practicing in the South Florida area for the past 29 years. Dr. Romero-Bolumen earned her medical degree from Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1985. After completing her Pediatric Residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center, an affiliate of UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in Neptune, New Jersey; Dr. Romero-Bolumen returned to Hialeah, Florida where she provided medical care to children and adolescents within that community for almost three decades. Dr. Romero-Bolumen is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an active affiliate of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Romero-Bolumen is a competent physician, passionate about her commitment as a Pediatrician; and dedicated to provide the best care to her patients. She has a particular interest in preventive care, patient education, and the care of common adolescent conditions. In addition, Dr. Romero-Bolumen enjoys teaching and has been a preceptor for Nova Southeastern University, Florida International University, and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Romero-Bolumen states, “My priority as a pediatrician is to establish a close and trustworthy relationship with my patients and their parents”.
