Dr. Irene Bakos is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has practiced general ophthalmology and ophthalmologic surgery in the Chicago western suburbs for over fifteen years. Dr. Bakos specializes in cataract surgery with implants, glaucoma evaluation and laser surgery, contact lens fittings, and routine eye exams. She also performs cosmetic laser procedures such as upper and lower lid blepharoplasties and laser skin resurfacing. She is now happy to offer the latest treatment in skin renewal called microdermabrasion. Complementary to this cosmetic aspect of her practice, is the newest in skin care treatments, such as glycolic peels, Retin-A, and copper anti-oxidant and vitamin C creams.
