Irene Uke is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of clinical experience in treating psychiatric disorders. She earned her Master's in Family Nursing from Walden University and completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Rivier University. Whether you're coming in for a follow-up or a more complex initial psychiatric evaluation, Irene has the skills and resources to manage all of your mental health needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Alpha Mental Health Servicers Inc. My mission is to provide quality and culturally competent care. Are you depressed, hurting, having trouble sleeping, any other mood symptoms or mental health challenges? Are you easily irritated and stressed out? You don't have to keep suffering. I can help you. Per Texas regulations, I work in collaboration with a seasoned and well experienced psychiatrist. We treat the whole patient and approach our patients with empathy, and compassion. Medication often gives quicker relief, however with our hard work, together with brief solution-focused therapy, we will have the best hope for healing.

Really thorough and great communicator. Explained the conditions and the medication and made sure that I was aware of different medication interactions. Make sure that you actually need the medication instead of over prescribing and just prescribing medication like other doctors.

Irene is a very patient and competent provider. I’ve seen quite a few over the years and she’s the only one that didn’t leave me dreading my next appointment, but looking forward to it. Her communication style is compassionate and relatable and this allows for very thorough evaluation and extremely productive sessions without the hindrance of discomfort while sharing your experience. I just want to say that I am a grown adult and Doctors should listen to their patients and what they feel is best for them. Her staff contacted me the same day I booked the appt and they helped me fill out the proper paperwork to make my the appointment as smooth as possible. The appt with my doctor was perfect. I felt like she listened to what I had to say, she asked me questions so that we could get to the root of the problem etc. She was super sweet and took her time with our appt. I didn’t feel rushed or like the appt was a waste of time. I highly recommend her
