After graduating Medical School with Summa Cum Laude at Western University in Pomona, California; I completed general surgical training at Martin Luther King and Arrowhead Regional Medical center near Los Angeles. Further specialized laparoscopic bariatric surgery training/fellowship was next learned at Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center in beautiful Hershey Pennsylvania. I have actively participated in various scientific articles and attended several conferences related to morbid obesity surgery and outcomes during my extensive training. I also stay current on memberships and meetings such as ASMBS, SAGES, ACOS, HCMS, and TMA on this fast evolving field of weight loss surgery. I am a board certified general surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of morbid obesity. I have been in practice for more than five years and have performed more than 1000 weight loss related operations with excellent outcomes. At my practice we offer laparoscopic gastric banding, laparoscopic vertical sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic gastric bypass, and laparoscopic revisional bariatric weightloss options. Each procedure is tailored to patient needs and can be performed at Cyfair Medical Center, Houston North West Medical Center, St. Lukes the Vintage, Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, or North Cypress Medical Center.
