Dr. Tackie completed her residency program at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She served as the Pediatric Chief Resident in her final year. At Hurley, she was awarded the Amithabha Banerjee Award for Leadership in Outstanding Clinical Skills, Professional Behavior and Commitment to Lifelong Learning. After residency she moved to Fontana where she worked for a number years serving the children of the Inland Empire. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She serves on the Continuing Medical Education Committee and the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Committee of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. She is affiliated with San Antonio Regional Hospital and has a close working relationship with Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
