Dr. Abbassi excels in various areas of podiatric care, including elective foot and ankle surgery, wound care, lower extremity dermatology, biomechanics, and sports medicine for all ages.
Dr. Abbassi earned his doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and honed his expertise through a comprehensive 3-year surgical residency at the Veterans Health Hospital in East Orange, where he was chief resident. His training included rotations at notable hospitals like Community Medical Center and Saint Peter's University Hospital.

I made an online appt. It was confirmed. We arrived to find the office closed. When I called they claimed it was “the system”. I don’t know whose fault it was but someone dropped the ball. I have no idea how the doctor is as a result of the office being closed. Maybe they should update their hours, availability, days open etc to avoid this in the future. It was not only incredibly inconvenient but we had to scramble to get another doctor. Btw the new doctor and his staff had no problem with “the system” and it was a wonderful experience after the annoyance of this one.

It was a plus not having to wait long for Dr. Abbasi to examine my foot. Being my second visit, I told him that the arthritis gel and ankle sleeve that he recommended did relieve my pain immensly. He is very attentive and thorough in answering any question I had.

I have been seen by Dr Abbassi today exactly on my scheduled appointment. He is knowledgable and took care of my injured foot exactly as requested. Xray and boots and other treatments were done all in the same visit. Office staff are welcoming and professional. Such an impressive experience they gave me today at the office.
