My virtual appointment with this provider was very uncomfortable and concerning. The doctor joined the call several minutes late and appeared sweaty, disheveled, and sitting in a dirty car while wearing workout clothes. He was wiping sweat from his head with a towel during the session, and it looked like he had just finished exercising. This did not feel like a professional or hygienic medical setting. He seemed knowledgeable about medications such as Wellbutrin and SSRIs, but the environment and presentation made it very hard to feel comfortable or confident in the care. What concerned me most was that he asked me to send my personal and medical information to his personal Gmail address, which raised serious privacy and HIPAA concerns. I left the appointment feeling uneasy and unsure about whether this provider meets the professional standards expected on Zocdoc. I hope this feedback helps ensure other patients have a safer, more professional experience.

Hi recommended! Extremely professional, explore underlining conditions help you maintain focus on what the main objective is. He does not push medication without proper assessment. Great experience!!

Doctor Isreal is very respectful and saved my life in a time where my previous Doctor wasn't as caring or available to talk. I'm very glad I could talk to him and he's available to see more than once a month. It helps so much more.

He’s tried to push medication on me throughout the appointment. I clearly told him I prefer the holistic route for my mental health (at the beginning of the session when he initially asked) yet he rephrased his question a few times & tried to emphasize that he thinks I need to indulge in medication. I understand that psychiatrists make the majority of their income via prescriptions but this does not validate him being adamant on me taking meds (especially after ONE session.) For the therapy portion, he was giving me vague solutions. I left feeling like there were zero steps moving forward. Thankfully, I scheduled another session ahead of time just in case. For every patient out there, it’s trial & error for you to find the ideal doctor for you. Do not lose hope & keep trying until you find your fit! We got this.. Xoxo

I ( Hopefully) Have just found a psychiatrist, FINALLY ...HOPEFUL VRY HAPPY With his manner and his respect and he just maybe, Able to help me. That is SO AO MUCH Wait off of my shoulders. I really hope. That this is going to work out I. Immediately felt a connection to feel comfortable to talk to this gentleman. He is a good man and has already told me that he would be there.. To talk when I need to as to where my current psych. We don't get to talk and i've had them FOR 2 years and still have never met EM. WE Text each other even though that's awesome. Because you know it's nice. But I do need some face time to be able to talk to somebody that I'm trusting my most important thoughts and my most trusted things that I can't talk to anybody else about and it's nice to see it. This man's face and to feel the energy even through the screen. Was very positive and very concerned that I was okay and I think that is absolutely awesome. So I give him a thumbs up big thumbs up five stars
