The only reason for "Good" instead of "Excellent - It's just not possible for feel excellent about ANY doctor comes into the room, prepared to drain your knee and inject cortisone.
I have been to Dr. Gardiner many times before. I keep coming back because I appreciate his bedside manner as well as the time he spends making sure all your questions are answered.
Your zoc doc website had issues trying to make the appt. the only times available were only displayed when choosing new paietients tab.
The doctor was extremely professional and personable. He recognized my issue, treated it and gave me instructions for followup.
It was great. I was given forms to fill it before my visit and thus when I arrived to my appointment I was seen right away. Dr. Gardiner's assistant was super nice and efficient. And, Dr Gardiner's advice and consultation was excellent. I had a great visit. Thank you!!
People were nice, front desk people felt a bit rude
Was a pleasant experience and the doctor was great to explain me my options
Nice and easy visit
Dr Gardiner is such a great doctor. He is always willing to discuss and explain Any and all options for treatment. His staff is also excellent and very helpful.
Professional and courteous service
He was able to diagnose my injury and gave me straightforward advice. Would've appreciated a bit more in depth discussion about how such an injury happens, how to avoid it, etc. but I got the most important thing I needed out of the appt--advice and diagnosis. Tech was great.
Service was great and I will be back!
First, I was delighted to get an appointment so quickly. Dr. Gardiner was down-to-earth. I appreciated his ability to be clear and very helpful with the right questions. He had a handle on the exact issue quickly. I would definitely go to Dr. Gardiner again!
Dr. Gardiner has a good manner about him when discussing your particular malady. He is particularly good with those of us who are (or were, LOL) athletes since he asks questions demonstrating an understanding how a particular injury took place. He gives the information that allows the patient to masked sn informed choice.
Dr. Gardiner is a good listener, realistic, supportive, appropriately non-aggressive, and solution oriented, offering a number of viable options, involving the patient in the decision making process.
The nurse and x-ray tech were both very friendly and helpful. Dr. Gardiner was friendly, but seemed to rush my appointment to the point that I did not feel comfortable asking him any questions. I felt as though I were inconveniencing him. I will go here if I ever need a quick and easy "yes or no", but anything more complicated than that, I will take somewhere else. One good thing was that the scheduling process was incredibly easy. I booked the appointment the night before online! I have never done that before for a specialist.
Staff were pleasant and competent. Dr. Gardiner is so kind and personable, you feel you've always known him. Treatment was quick and effective. I will go back to him when needed
HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND NICE. DR. GARDINER HAS TREATED ME ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THRU THE YEARS AND HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING.
Probably the worse physician I have been to thus far. Provided no guidance or expertise whatsoever for my issue. I even had to suggest getting an xray myself. Actually stated " i have nothing to advise you." another waste of a time and effort to see this doctor.
the visit was great- i was able to get in on short notice. Zocdoc made the check in quicker.
Dr. Gardiner is a great doctor who is very professional and takes his time to see patients and explains all procedures in detail to make sure you understand. His staff is great too.
0 minute wait unheard of in this day and age. Great and friendly staff, Dr Gardiner is very sharp and efficient.
Dr. Gardiner is professional and kind. His experience is much appreciated and his measured recommendations are a sensible approach to a possible lengthy recovery period. Highly recommended.
He was very honest, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, as was all his staff. I would not go to another orthopedic surgeon for anything else. I wish he could do I hip replacement surgery, but I trust he has put me in good hands for that. He was great!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The appointment was efficient, there was no waiting around.
Dr. Gardiner is very thorough and patient. He takes time to explain the options, and provides advice that almost seems like he's considering how he would have the options of remedies performed on himself - i.e., which ones he would be willing to undergo to remedy the condition. This approach results in a good collaborative decision on what remedy to pursue.
I dont have insurance and in US just 3 weeks here. So I am new to all med treatment. Dr James was very nice and make me discount for the crutches and leg equipment . The leg is not broken but i have high ankle sprain.
It was very good and helped reduce a lot of anxiety and uncertainty about my condition.
I had an 8:10 appointment and was there early. I didn't get taken in untill 8:45. The MRI was not sent over, which may not have been their error but their approach was condescending. I was referred there based on an MRI from another issue. The doctor was rude about why I was there and said there was no need. That's great news, but could have been handled less condesending.
Just a "run of the mill" visit, with just the minimum time necessary to get the work done.
Great practice, well organized team, Dr. Gardiner quickly diagnosed my issue and recommended treatment that worked immediately and his staff was pleasant, helpful and very nice to work with. I highly recommend Dr. Gardiner for any orthopedic issues.
Dr. Gardiner was fantastic! His office environment and staff were both friendly and inviting. Exceeded expectations. Parking and location is super-convenient. Highly recommended.
Dr Gardiner's office staff saw me right away, quickly took my medical information and X-Rays. Dr Gardiner determined a quick diagnosis and treatment plan. Walked out of the office feeling better than I had in weeks!
I really needed a doctor who listens and wasn't afraid to advise me as to the best treatments available for my conditions. Dr. Gardiner, spent the time to teach me about what is wrong, and listened to my concerns. Dr. Gardiner didn't send me away feeling empty and hopeless, but with a plan of action.
The doctor was very friendly and quite clear about the diagnosis.
I spent more time filling out my information and speaking with the assistant beforehand than I did with the doctor. He was very dismissive of my pain and left me with the advice that "it is what it is" and "there is no right answer". "Eventually it will feel better"; "Try to get back to the gym"...All of which made me feel like an idiot and like he felt that I must be making the pain up or something. He said I could try physical therapy "if I wanted to"...but the whole point of me making an appointment with an orthopedic specialist was for HIS advice. Not to tell me to continue trying what I'm doing and hope it will get better eventually. No prescriptions were written for pain or muscle spasm and he told me just to take Advil.
Dr. Gardiner and his staff did a great job of taking care of and treating me. They team was curious, professional and did more than what was expected!
Dr, Gardner is a great orthopedist. He has performed shoulder surgery on me three times, knee replacement for my wife, and I am now scheduled for my own knee replacement with him. We have complete confidence in him.
At all honesty Ihave very little experience on bilateral knee surgery, but how mr. Gardener performed operation it was just like a walk in pparadis. My opinion he really one of the best! Thanks Vladimir Sadkov.
I have been a patient of Dr. Gardiner for over eight years. I absolutely love him. He has helped me with my injury & my weight loss journey to help me improve my overall health issues. After having twins I gained some weight that really made me fell pain in both knees like never before. Dr. Gardiner guided me to weight watchers & gave me exercises that have helped me so much. If you are looking for a honest orthopedic you have came to right doctor. All of the people I've referred say he is the best in the area. Also his staff are all very professional & nice. I also love the Physical Therapy department. I am hoping to be 100 by the end of the year.
He was very pleasant, informative and listened to my son's concern. Just took our daughter to see him two weeks prior and was equally impressed. Highly recommended!
Fantastic, very personable
He is very professional and speaks plainly. I was impressed with his evaluation of my problem and how to solve it. No ifs, ands or buts. I am fully confident in his abilities.
He was very pleasant and professional. Great bedside manner. Would highly recommend
Extremely concerned and patient.
My appt this week was for out-patient surgery at Shady Grove Hospital. Although my wait time was more than an hour beyond the schedule, it was due to unforeseen complications with the patient before me, so I get it. When it was my turn, I felt confident that Dr. Gardiner would extend the same professionalism and TLC toward me, and he did. Fortunately, my procedure was simple and routine (trigger thumb) so there were no complications nor delays. The worst of it for me was my own anxiety leading up to the moment, and I very much appreciated the fact that he recognized it, addressed it rather than dismissed it, and provided the reassurance needed for a positive outcome. He also made the right call regarding anesthesia, which we had agreed to 'play by ear.' Local was not enough.... much better that I skipped the side show! ??
Direct to the point and re-assuring! Pleasant dr. too.
I always enjoy meeting with the Doctor. He has an incredible memory. Always remembering my kids names. He definitely takes an interest in his patients.
Dr Gardiner gives you the time you need. Answers your questions and is very encouraging. Great Doctor.
James Gardiner performed both of my knee replacements. I play highly competitive softball. I am running better than I have in 30 years. He is very professional and tells you just what is wrong with your joint or muscle problem.
He always helps relieve my pain!!
Dr. Gardiner is professional, kind, and caring. He is thorough and takes the time to answer all questions you may have and follow up to see how you are doing. He is a 6 STAR doctor.
Dr Gardiner is the best doctor in his field I have seen him for a long time He is skilled and professional Appreciate his humor and understanding
Very efficient staff and Dr. Garddiner is personable and very knowledgeable.
very straight forward and forth coming. I liked the direct approach
Si had gone to Dr. Gardiner years back for my son when he broke his arm and then again for myself for another issue. When I had this back pain, I was so glad that I went back to see Dr. Gardiner. He explains everything and made me feel comfortable by discussing all the issues at hand. Great doctor!
I was less than impressed. The Dr. handed me two photocopied "brochures" and told me to google my condition and look for solutions on the web. Thanks! I could have saved the money and done that myself.
Dr. Gardiner is a gentleman with a wonderful wit. He has treated my husband and son for a while. While they don't enjoy getting injured, they know that he is incredibly smart and knows what he is doing. That alone will keep us going back to him for as along as he is seeing patients.
This was our first visit to this practice and we were pleasantly surprised. We were in an exam room within minutes of our appointment time (5-7 minute). Inside the room we had little to no wait time. The initial screening was done almost immediately, had X-rays done quickly and within minutes the Dr. was in. The doctor was very welcoming and positive. He was very clear with us and involved us in the decision making.
Dr. Gardiner is great. He is particularly great for weekend warriors as he is one himself. Clear and to the point and a good listener.
Dr. Gardiner has a very personal attentiveness to his patients. He is very informative & breaks it down in a very understanding way. A true professional in his field.
A follow up visit. On time and his entire office staff was very plesant and professional. Dr. Gardiner replaced my left knee. I feel great. I highly recommend him.
The entire staff is great and they do everything possible to make sure you have a positive experience. Dr. Gardiner is efficient and caring.
I'm pleased to recommend Dr. Gardiner to anyone in search of an orthopedic specialist. I've seen Dr. Gardiner three times in the last six weeks.... first for a back injury, then for a broken foot. He's competent and professional, yet personable and caring. He gets you in and out in short order without feeling rushed or short-changed, which is not only appreciated but refreshing! I especially like his straight forward, common-sense approach. AND I can't say enough about his staff, particularly Jessica and Charlie who both went out of their way to be helpful and ensure I go what I needed in a timely way. Kudos to the entire team.... I'm glad I found them.
a great doctor listens to me about my pains and gives good advise I am a older guy and he keeps me going.
He did my knee replacement and he is a highly skilled professional; knowledgeable, friendly, available, and positive. I am always treated well and am very happy with my new knee.
I liked how he used diagram on the wall to show what was happening with my sons ankle sprain Great doctor!
Dr. Gardiner has terrific bedside manner and very personable. Explained a few things i had been in the dark about and would refer him to others.
Appointment was good. Dr explained wat was going on with my sholder in simple but intelligent terminology for me. Then a quick shot and I was done. So far would recommend to anyone.
Dr. Gardiner is always professional from his clothes to his demeanor in the office. He is direct and doesn't sugar coat his diagnosis which is what I prefer so that I don't delude myself that everything is alright when it isn't. He has performed two surgeries on me which had excellent results and the other professionals he works with are the best in their particular areas of concentration. I can easily get appointments which is important when pain is involved but most significant of all, I trust him!
Our family has been going to Maryland Orthopedic Specialists for several years, and we make the trek down from Frederick County because we like the doctors and the physician assistant, Charlie, so much. My children have seen Dr. Gardiner several times, and we have always been happy with him. He is personable and professional, never rushed, always takes time to answer questions. As a parent, I also appreciate that he takes a cautious approach, protecting young feet and legs when x-rays are inconclusive.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Pinpoints the issue right away. Very personable.
Dr Gardiner is personable and knowledgeable. He clearly explained the physiology behind my injury.
Very pleased with my surgery results! Dr. Had Great rapport with patient. Good attention to detail in explaining diagnosis and treatment. Very professional. Great office atmosphere.
Dr. Gardiner has a fantastic bedside manner, he's informative, he listens and he is a fantastic communicator. He has handled every aspect of my ACL reconstruction with ease & I've felt completely taken care by him & his staff the whole way through.
Dr Gardiner is a great Dr we talk about the problem the discuss what's the best way to go about it.
Dr. Gardiner is the best! I drive all the way from West Virginia, well over an hour away to see my doctor. He can't be replaced. Love him dearly and highly recommend him.
As always, Dr. Gardiner was pleasant and helpful. We (my husband is a patient of his also) think he is absolutely the best.
Excellent doctor. Explains problem areas thoroughly. Provided treatment there. Answered all questions. MO complaints. Best knee doctor I've met and has motivated me to finally quit procrastinating and getting these surgeries done with no worries. Cute doctor too. Love him!
He was very understanding.
Dr. Gardiner diagnosed my problem immediately and I am glad I selected him. I highly recommend him.
I have seen Dr. Gardiner twice in the last 2 weeks. I think he does an excellent job of explaining, medically, what the problem is and what the treatment options are to address it. In addition, I think he is very patient in answering questions.
Dr. Gardiner is wonderful. He is thorough and explains everything to patients. We have seen Dr. Gardiner before this on several occasions for several members of our family. He completed an ankle reconstruction for me several years ago which went very smoothly. His manner has always been the same; he takes the time to explain whatever is going on in layman's terms and makes sure patients understand their situation as well as available options. He is very professional but very approachable too.
Dr. Gardiner was exceptionally thorough with his examination! After the exam, he took the time to explain what the issues were, how they were cause in a manner that was not only in layman's terms, but gently so the diagnosis and prognosis did not scare my 14 yrs. old daughter. Not only did he use his candor to communicate with her, she left giggling and optimistic in returning to sports at the level she was at, in a timely manner.
Dr Gardiner did a procedure to release a trigger finger a couple of weeks ago. All went well with the procedure and the followup visit was great; and I only had to wait about 10 minutes, although I had an 8:00 appointment which may be part of the reason. Very nice office and I felt confident in the doctor.
D r Gardiner Was a Dr who how i was in pain he told what he was going to do and ask me to see a Physical Sspecialists I am doing just that
Me gusto su profesionalismo, me hizo sentir segura, es una persona agradable, sencilla, es paciente y explica muy bien los procedimientos, muchas gracias Dr, por su calidad de servicio. La cita la tuve el día 4 de septiembre de 2.015
I really liked Dr. Gardiner. He was very kind and knew exactly what was going on with me. When he came in he had already looked at the MRI and the written results. He is a strong proponent of trying to avoid surgery when not necessary.
I was not pleased with the way that I was treated by Dr. Gardiner and his office. The front desk was unhelpful and accusatory. Dr. Gardiner himself was clearly rushed and had little interest in taking the time to speak to me about my questions. He almost immediately diminished my concerns and showed little sympathy for me as a patient. It seemed like he was about to run out the door and had better things to do than speak to me. I will say that some of the other staff, such as the technicians, were helpful and very friendly. Unfortunately, that does little to get rid of the bad taste from visiting this office. I was incredibly disappointed by my visit.
He seems to have a very sensible approach to treating back problems, and I found that reassuring.
Dr. Gardiner is wonderful!! He has done carpal tunnel on both my hands, shoulder surgery, and is helping me with my heel spur!!!! He has done meniscus surgery on my husband and father and they are both pleased as well!!! If you're looking for the type of Dr. who sits and really listens to you then this is the Dr. for you!!!!! Would highly recommend Dr. Gardiner :-)
Dr. James Garnder is ok with me. He does a very professional job and communicates with his patients very well. I would definitely refer him to my family, friends.
Such a genuinely nice man and so clearly aware within about 5 minutes exactly what the problem was. Explained it to me clearly and gave me guidance on what to do. Great experience and although I hope this clears it up - would DEFINITELY come to Dr. Gardiner again if I have a problem.
The visit went really well. He answered all my questions very professionally. I just forgot to ask one question about the tingling in my toes. I really feel good about Dr Gardiner so far.
Dr. James Gardiner is very professional and excellent communications with my daughter and myself that he knows we are deaf.
He's a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and charismatic. Some days the wait can get a little long; but it's worth it.
I waited a long time to be seen. Over 1 hour despite having an appointment. The Italian guy who took my vitals etc. was great. He was friendly, engaged and professional. Dr. Gardiner was the opposite. It seemed to me that if it wasn't an issue that required surgery then I was just another run of the mill muscle strain customer. I never felt like a patient, just a customer. I asked questions and I got non-specific, not very helpful answers that exhibited a blasé attitude. I should have gone straight to physical therapy closer to home. Very disappointing. I won't be coming back and I will be telling my team mates to look elsewhere.
I really enjoyed Dr. Gardiner; he is extremely personable and took the time to explain to me exactly what my issue was (in terms that I could understand). He also provided me with referrals for the next step, and offered some options. I would highly recommend him.
The wait time was awful, 1 1/2 hours just to see Dr. Gardiner for 15 minutes. However, on the plus side, he did give me a treatment of Synvisc One in my right knee cap for pain and so far it seems effective. I was able to get a fairly good nights rest without pain.
It was great! I highly recommend him. My son is going to see him tomorrow.
Provided good explanation of problem and helped provide relief that it could be handled without surgery.
He is very honest and up front with you. Explains things very well in language you can understand . He makes me feel very comfortable . Highly recommend him.
Very, very skilled at what they do - - Dr. Gardiner is incredible to work with... I would highly recommend him.
What a great doctor and very thorough
Probably the last appointment of the day and the doctor in a hurry to finish his day. I would have preferred to spend more time on certain symptoms and injury background.
Spectacular!! Scheduled the appointment and was able to be see that same day. Incredibly professional and the staff was just as good.
The doctor was fine.......the appointment was for 1:40 and I was not seen until 2:55, though. Quite a drag waiting for that extended period of time. When he arrived, though, he was more than satisfactory. I would recommend him......
very professional, above and beyond the call of duty!
It was the best medical experience I've ever had!
The best! I had an ankle injury and he got me in the next day. A real pro, he explained the injury and process for recovery with exceptional clarity. Highly recommended!
This is a perfect place for medical services. Every body is professionnal and smiling. I recommend on 1,000 %!!!
Fast and professional, just what I needed!
Dr. Jim is a personable, knowledgeable and practical Dr. who is also a tremendous surgeon. Dr Jim, No worries
This office is friendly and efficient. They were able to fit me in the same day as a new patient with an emergency, which I really appreciate. Dr. Gardiner was very patient and honest. His assistant Charlie was as well. I will definitely be back. Hopefully, not too soon though!
We were seen promptly and everyone in the office was friendly. Dr. Gardiner took a lot of time with my daughter and explained everything so that she understood her issues. (She is 14). Great experience!
Very outstanding, one of the best Doctors I've ever had.
I was very impressed with how quickly my procedure went. Dr. G was very informative and everything he told me about surgery and recovery was correct.
Always great. Wouldn't go to anyone else.
I thought my visit with Dr. Gardiner was excellent and professional as I expected. Dr. Gardiner took the time to explain the cancellation of my surgery at Suburban Hospital which was scheduled for July 13, 2015
I like talking with him.
I would recommend him to anyone who wants an upfront, to the point, no nonsense, professional doctor. He listens to you and quickly recommends next steps. I absolutely think he knows what he is doing and he does it extremely well.
Great informative visit.
Very professional and willing to not mince words with issue being seen for.
- very thorough -very accommodating (they were more than willing to work around my schedule - even on a busy Friday) - very informative.. appropriately setting my expectations - I would highly recommend Dr. Gardiner and his team to anyone considering their services
Quick, concise and personable.
He was just the doctor that I was looking for! His staff was very professional abd cordial. He was very thorough and helpful in explaining my condition. I didn't feel rushed at all. I finally found the right practice and doctor that I was looking for!
Dr. James Gardiner was treating me again for inflammation of the elbow bursa that required him to aspirate the area. He did the procedure quickly and efficiently and then spent time reviewing the situation and discussing further treatment options should it reoccur for a third or fourth time. He answered my questions and gave me clarity about the best options and likely course of treatment.
He is kind and knows his stuff. Dr. Gardiner always explains things thoroughly and answers questions. A+
Excellent exam and very professional !!
Efficient , , direct and treats the patient not the Xray! Quick and appropriate procedure to relieve pain and clear directions on patient activity to achieve the benefit of the treatment.
Overall the visit was really good. I have met with him several times before and he is the best. This time around though I had over an hour wait to get in to see him. Multiple people kept bypassing me so I went up to the front desk to ask if I had been forgotten because I had been waiting over an hour and I was informed that somebody else had forgotten to add me to the list of upcoming patients. After they realized their goof I was brought in two minutes later and they waived the co-pay which was nice...but I was still perplexed how I was forgotten about especially after I had to fill out my information again.
He is awesome. Informative, polite, knowledgeable and, professional across the board. I am glad I made the final decision to come to HIM! I look forward to his service as my Orthopedic Specialist. And I have no doubt he will be recommended highly after my procedures as well. Judy C. Germantown, MD
Dr. Gardiner and staff were very polite, helpful and very well informed about my condition. Everyone... including Dr. Gardiner were friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. In addition, the process for checking in for my appointment was made easy. I highly recommend Dr, Gardiner and his staff for those who may need his services and expertise. They are excellent professionals.
He was a little abrupt, but seemed knowledgeable. I would go back again, but would be open to seeing another Dr. in the practice too.
It would have been good to get an update on my cell phone that the doctor was running behind schedule. Then I could have left my office 30 minutes later.
I had a really wonderful experience at Dr. Gardiner's office. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and inviting as was everyone on the staff I had an interaction with. Dr. Gardiner has a real genuine kind bedside manner. My favorite person at the office was the x ray tech, he was fantastic!! Highly recommend!
Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite; clean, new facility
This doctor is just a joy. He listens, he talks, he knows what he is doing. Highly recommend him.
I have known this doctor for more than 15 years. Dr. Gardiner is very pleasant and thorough.
Sr. Gardener was very direct and to the point. He provided a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Doctor spent time explaining my situation and alternative treatments. Office staff efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Gardiner.
Excellent doctor. Perfect in every way.
He has treated me in the past and is excellent. I will happily use him again for any of my orthopedic needs.
Overall this was a good visit. The staff were super friendly and prompt, even at 8 AM. Dr. Gardiner was also very personable and did a good job explaining what might be going on with my injury. The office is bright, clean, and lively. I had hoped the 8 AM appointment would reduce the wait time, but I waited for about 35 minute before I saw the Doctor (although I had an xray done while I was waiting). This isn't a major knock against the place though, since it's fairly typical for medical appointments in this area. Only one other minor knock: the parking lot is not free!
I recommend Dr. Gardiner and his staff very highly. Beatrice
The visit was scheduled on-line on really short term notice in emergency situation. The diagnosis was achieved very quickly and efficiently. Highly satisfied. Will recommend to friends.
I was impressed that he really listened and was focused on a practical solution to my immediate issue. Even though it was right before Christmas, he didn't seem rushed at all and he solved my problem.
The doc actually took time to chat with me about my injury. I never felt rushed. They did X-Rays on site and only took a few minutes.
Very thorough. Gave us options. Would def see him again.
Highly recommend! Staff were all courteous, professional, and friendly. I was seen almost immediately after I completed the initial forms. I didn't spend any time waiting idly in the exam room, either -- everything was quick but thorough. Dr. Gardiner is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. Answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. No wonder he's considered a "top doctor" by the Washingtonian! (My visit was for a fractured right foot.)
This doctor gets right to the point and works on getting you well...no lets try this, lets try that...wait 6 weeks and see how it goes. He knows what he is doing, is approachable and good. Highly recommend him.
Dr Gardiner was awesome. He explained in detail what the diagnosis was, and even called my father to discuss the diagnosis and course of treatment.
I was unimpressed; my symptoms were minimized and important issues were glazed over with generalities and there was a true lack of expertise and further direction. I would not refer anyone else.
He is easy to communicate with and can get thru the weeds and diagnose quickly. He has been a positive experience in my life.
Great office staff and a very attentive and professional doctor. Highly recommend him!
Friendly and professional. My teenager daughter was the patient and was happy with the visit.
everyone was great!
he was great. wait time was too long @45 minutes
XRAY TECH was polite and efficient and pleasant to work with Front desk crew was a bit busy - Seemed a bit confused at time - but performed accurately in the end - and maintained a polite and professional tone throughout DR Gardiner - was attentive to my questions and verbally inquisitive about what happened - causes/levels and frequency of pain. He could have been more thorough with the physical examination of my ankle to better identify the specific problem areas and selecting the most useful exercise that would help
The wait was long, but the doctor and medical staff was excellent.
He's an excellent orthopedic with a very practical, no nonsense manner. Despite the fact that ZocDoc did not send my appointment to the office, they managed to fit me into the schedule with little delay.
Excellent doctor. He knows his stuff.
Dr Gardiber is great.
We arrived at the office just before our scheduled appointment. However, they had no record of a scheduled appointment for my daughter eventhough I showed them an email reminder fromZocDoc. As a result we had to wait about 30 minutes before we were seen. I believe there is a disconnect between ZocDoc and the doctors. I may just call the office next time to schedule an appointment.
as always, he is efficient and to the point. no waiting around. he takes the time to listen to you, too. go see him.
He appeared to know what he was doing, but did not bother to read the forms I filled out. Additionally, he did not listen patiently for me to finish describing the issues before interjecting with his opinion on the matter. Felt rushed due to this type of interaction, but I do not believe I was actually being rushed...
Lots of good info. Everyone was so helpful and understanding.
First, my English is not really good. I had an accident and broke my back. I'm 32. I went to see Dr Gardiner, and I will say that he is a very intelligent, very professional, he took his time to listen to me and explained what I should do, before my appointment with Dr. Gardiner I was very afraid of my situation, now I feel relax and comfortable that I couldn't go to better hands. Thank you Doctor, I hope you can read this, I'm going to say something in Spanish for people like me who sometimes is hard to understand English. Gracias
He is great. Quick and willing to answer questions. Always helpful and has a good sense of humor.
He's always great and a good listener.
I've been a patient of Dr. Gardiner's for several years. He's always very supportive, informative and takes the time needed to explain things and answer questions. All the staff in the Germantown office is great!
Well run office, friendly people, extremely efficient. As great an experience as you can have while in pain.
as always, he is professional and knows his stuff. he makes you feel welcomed and relaxed while taking care of your problems. i will be back to him when i injure myself again, which always seems to happen.
He was very good did not fool around . His Assistant was very good to very helpfull. Would go back anytime needed.
I love Dr. Gardiner. Always a minimal wait, and he treats me like a person. Speaks to me as if he's been a friend for years. And, he's always willing to take the time to talk to me about any concerns I have. And, he presents many treatment options, and together we make a decision about my healthcare.
I felt like I was being rushed and I was interrupted often.
As always, first class practice with little or no waiting. Love that xrays are done on the spot with no need to go elsewhere. And, Dr. Gardiner is always able to take the time to answer all my questions completely. Highly recommended!
Very, very short visit with the doctor (probably 2 minutes or less) - seemed a little rushed for my taste.
Very easy to talk to and my 12 year old daughter felt very comfortable with him
Dr Gardiner treated my 11 yr old son for a sports injury. He had a great bedside manner and was very attentive to his needs. We will definitely go back to him for any orthopedic needs we have in the future for our family.
Overall great impression of this office and Dr. Gardiner. I waited about 25 minutes in the waiting room and another 10-15 in the exam room. In my experience, this is fairly typical for most doctors' offices. I was on time, my forms were pre-filled out, and I still waited for almost half an hour. But, the Doctor was very good and I would surely go back.
Dr Gardiners office had no record of the appointment. They said they had stopped using Zoc Doc services. They did manage to work me in but I had to wait 45 minutes.
To the point; no wasted time.
