It was an efficient, polite visit. That’s the best I can say.
I came in complaining of ongoing knee pain and instability. The office had onsite X-ray capabilities which is very convenient. The doctor than saw me, he diagnosed my issue as arthritis, and encouraged me to take NSAID painkillers as needed (which I can’t do, due to another health condition, which I believe I had indicated in my paperwork). He offered me a cortisone shot, which within minutes had me feeling great. I went running a couple days later, at least I tried to, but my knee caved in within a minute, and I needed help getting out of the park. I ended up in the ER, unable to walk, got an MRI after that, and found another orthopedist who saw that my meniscus was shredded.
I have no doubt that if Dr Ajayi had been a bit less “efficient” and actually listened to the classic symptoms I was describing, my pathway to healing would have been far less traumatic and painful.
