As a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, I specialize in treating all disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the most complex parts, so congratulations on taking that step. My goal is to ensure all people receive excellent quality care. Mental health is a vast subject in today's world, and it is okay to discuss and treat it. I am here to ensure we work towards providing excellent quality of life and care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I like to create an atmosphere where patients feel safe and know that their information and what is discussed during their sessions is completely confidential (unless there is an attempt to harm oneself or others). I believe prioritizing mental health is vital to happiness and stability in life.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will work as a team. We, as a team, set goals about what you would like to achieve. I always start with an introductory session, where you can share your story and what you hope to achieve. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the following sessions to make these goals a reality for you.
