NEW PATIENTS: Please be aware that I DO NOT prescribe controlled medications. I have a collaborative approach to medication management, which focuses on providing psychoeducation and medication education to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their care. While I don't provide psychotherapy alone, I do provide some supportive counseling with every medication management appointment. Sometimes, I may recommend that a therapist be part of your treatment team. I DO NOT PRESCRIBED CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. This includes stimulants (Ritalin/Concerta, Adderall, Vyvanse), benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium), and sedative-hypnotics (Ambien, Lunesta).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

NEW PATIENTS: Please be aware that I DO NOT prescribe controlled medications. Your first visit will be a one-hour psychiatric evaluation that will cover your psychiatric history, potential diagnoses, and treatment planning. The follow-up appointments are slated for 30-minutes and will focus on discussing progress, conducting reassessment, and adjusting medications as needed. I DO NOT PRESCRIBED CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. This includes stimulants (Ritalin/Concerta, Adderall, Vyvanse), benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium), and sedative-hypnotics (Ambien, Lunesta).

Vince has been absolutely amazing, definitely the best np i’ve ever had for my mental health. He’s caring, and really shows an interest in his patients lives, i never feel like a number and i actually look forward to our visits. Could not recommend enough !
Vince is a diligent, thorough, and responsive provider. I have worked side by side with him and seen the positive impact he has had on patients. He brings a level of attentiveness and compassionate care to each patient, and is knowledgeable of the LGBTQ+ community.
Vince is a kind and thoughful nurse practitioner who has great knowledge of the LGBTQ community, he really cares for his patients.
Vince has been the best professional I have seen for medication management in the city. He is always professional and compassionate. When I came to him, I had a stable medication regime that I had been on for a few years. He suggested a few changes, fully providing rationale and encouraging me to always do my own research. When I'm uncomfortable making a change, he listens to me fully and accepts what I am comfortable with. I feel empowered in my care at all times, which is such a joy and a rarity when it comes to psychiatric care.
Vince is an exceptional Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He's kind, friendly, and respectful and makes a point of being relatable while also maintaining an appropriate level of professionalism. I experience a range of complex psychiatric conditions and Vince has worked diligently with me to find effective solutions and to adapt to new circumstances as needed. He's patient, discerning, and judicious in his recommendations. He is very responsive via email outside of our sessions, which has been really helpful when I've run into issues with specific medications, or with pharmacies, etc. Most importantly, Vince ensures I am an active participant in all decisions we make about my mental healthcare. Whereas past clinicians have prescribed me medications without foresight, or minimized my experience and outlook, Vince takes the time to genuinely listen to where I'm at and allows me the final say in what's best for me. Highly recommend.
Vincent has been my psychiatric provider for the past year, and I must say it has been a pleasure. I would highly recommend him to anyone within the LGBTQ+ space that needs or is looking for a provider. Everything from initial consultation, to setting up a recurring appointment and obtaining prescriptions has been quite efficient. Very quick to respond to any questions or emails. Highly recommend.
