Hello, I'm Janet, a warm and empathetic licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to offering a non-judgmental and safe space for you to explore your issues. I believe that each client's therapeutic journey is unique and owned by them, and I see my role as a supportive and attuned guide in this process. My approach is centered on helping you better understand how your history influences your adult functioning and empowering you to move forward in your life on your own terms. I specialize in treating trauma and have a deep passion for helping clients with emotional regulation. My practice also focuses on anxiety, depression, dissociative disorders, grief and bereavement, life transitions, medical issues, multicultural and diversity issues, intimate and romantic relationships, sex and intimacy issues, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. In our sessions, I will likely encourage you to develop a practice of self-care activities that resonate with you. This could include exercising, walking, stretching, deep breathing, yoga, meditation, journaling, drawing, coloring, or engaging in the arts. I love to help clients make mind-body connections and find holistic ways to support their well-being. I offer individual therapy for adults and am committed to being an excellent listener and a compassionate presence in your life. Together, we will work on understanding your past and creating a path forward that feels right for you. I look forward to meeting you and embarking on this journey together.
