About Jaqueline Johnstone

Jacqueline Johnstone, CNM is an OB-GYN certified-nurse midwife in Mesa, Arizona. Jacqueline Johnstone, CNM is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She is certified in Nexplanon and IUD insertion and removals, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, and sonohysterograms. Attending the University of New Mexico, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing with a Midwifery Concentration. During her education, she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society and presented research on prenatal care and prematurity and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Beginning her healthcare practice 16+ years ago, Jacqueline Johnstone, CNM is highly skilled in nursing and OB-GYN care. Jacqueline started as a neonatal intensive care nurse and from that experience had an interest in taking care of women throughout the many phases of life especially their pregnancy, labor and deliver and postpartum period. She chose to continue her practice with Women’s Care for the opportunity to take care of Women in all different stages of life. Her special interests include adolescent gynecology, contraception, irregular bleeding, menopause management to include hormone therapy, and vulvar conditions. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also likes to do some needle work and bead. She wants her patients to know, “I am very passionate about my job and strive to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible!
