I did not like Dr Jared Morris's bedside manner. He was gruff (not in a mean way necessarily, but I prefer a more easygoing personality) and not very elaborative on his recommendations and evaluations, even when asked for more detail.

He seems like an amazing guy BUT just didn't feel confident enough. as a patient- he just looked at me and gave a suggestion.
I went for a skin condition and he looked at it and said I think its skin discoloration- pretty much gave me a cream to use it for 3 weeks and IF its not that then we do something else. also the office space felt old and unorganized. I don't usually give reviews but as a female looking for help, it was so disappointing.
but this was just me!

Dr. Morris was not able to diagnosis my symptoms. I presented with a rash, and the doctor was not able to determine whether I suffered from a fungal infection or an allergy to food, a detergent, or other environmental factor.

Just a summary: Did not validate parking. Office assistants were kind. Dr. Morris was soft spoken and definitely experienced. But it is difficult to have a private conversation (if you are insecure about your reason for meeting with them) because of his hard of hearing. He also, did not explain to me what the medication he prescribed me was. He was unwilling to answer additional questions.

I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving to the office. The front desk lady (i'm not sure if she was an RN or LVN, she had no ID tag to specify) was kind and let me into a clean room. Dr. Morris came in about 5 minutes later and asked for my reason to visit. He is a little hard of hearing, so I had to speak fairly loudly for him, which was a little concerning for me about my privacy (though the office was pretty empty). I was then asked to change into a gown, and the door was left slightly open while I changed in the room. Again, another concern for me for my privacy. I was then examined, and then sent off home with the same medicine I had previously been using for my psoriasis which hasn't been doing much. He is a sweet man, who probably was trying to reassure me about my "minor case" of psoriasis, however, I didn't appreciate minimizing the very reason I even came in to see him in the first place. I will be getting a second opinion.

If more physicians were as efficient and thorough as was Dr. Morris, there would be less need for physicians in general. His office staff were more than courteous and Dr. Morris's attention to detail was unlike any physician I've been to in years. I left the office knowing that my visit could not have been more timely and I will return to New York with a better understanding of how I should continue to protect my skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Also, thank you Dr. Morris, for being a part of the Cigna Insurance Program.
