This is my second time back to his office and it was the same great visit as last time. There was no wait, I was taken right on time. He was thorough with the exam and the office staff was friendly and helpful.

Jason Hade M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Hade was raised in Denville and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While at Wake Forest, Dr. Hade majored in biology with a minor in chemistry and was a member of the Mens’ Varsity tennis team. In addition, he was chosen to be part of a group of students to study abroad in Venice, Italy.
Following graduation from Wake Forest, Dr. Hade worked for several years as a scientist for research and development at an immunodiagnostic company. He then entered medical school at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. While there, he was selected to two prestigious honor societies. The first, Alpha Omega Alpha, is given to the top 10% of students for exceptional academic achievement and the second, Gold Humanism Honor Society, is given for demonstration of excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service. He then completed an internship program as a Transitional Year resident at both Morristown Memorial Hospital and Overlook Hospital. Dr. Hade returned to New Jersey Medical School to complete his residency at The Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science where he trained in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery. Following residency, Dr. Hade worked for two years in a private practice prior to opening his own office.
Dr. Hade maintains membership in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has presented research at several national meetings.

This is a very professional business, very neat and organized and up to date. The doctor is highly skilled and also relates to patients well. They do not try to get you to spend money on the most expensive eyeglasses and accessories, but are very straightforward and helpful in making selections. I am told my new glasses will be ready in a week, that is very quick compared to my previous eye doctor.

Dr. Hade is great. You can tell he's detail oriented. He answers every question directly. He doesnt treat you like a moron like some doc's do, and gives you the straight answer. Ive been seeing him(haha get it?) for a couple years now and have recommended him to some friends... And they too are very pleased... Highly reccomend!

Very impressed. His office staff is lovely and very helpful and he was thorough. He actually sat with me and went over all my tests results and made sure I understood completely. I also did not feel rushed when having the eye exam. I highly recommend Dr. Hade to all! I will be switching the rest of my family over to his office!!

Dr Hade is super knowledgeable in his area of expertise, he explained to me the pros & cons of doing LASIK so patiently, and also fitted me for soft contact lenses. Very professional and extremely courteous. I wish I had found his practice years ago! I cannot recommend him highly enough!!
