About Dr. Jason Wissinger

I am originally from Ohio but have lived in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Colorado, Florida, Wyoming, and now Montana. Living in all of these amazing locations helped me to develop a passion for the outdoors and adventure that I continue to explore with my wife and two sons. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, I earned degrees in psychology and biology in Colorado. I have worked in behavioral health with both adolescents and adults for nearly 12 years in Denver. I graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2019 and have continued to pursue community based rural medicine as a career. I hope to complete my fellowship in Wilderness Medicine and utilize those skills as a rural doctor. I look forward to working with my patients and hope to foster trust and build strong connections with them.
