My visits are always frustrating, it begins with the long wait time and continues with the difference in expectations between me & the Dr. I am in the military & see my military Dr. once a year for my annual physical during which they check vision, depth perception, color cone, hearing, vitals and any immunizations, labs or testing that I am due for. The Dr. also interviews me & reviews my health. Additionally, I see a civilian optometrist (by my own choice) to check my vision & update my glasses prescription, I want to ensure my glasses prescription is up to date since I am required to pass an annual vision test with the military.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful and proficient. Dr. Shaikh is very compassionate yet professional; only orders necessary tests. I am looking forward to using his new initiative. I am very pleased he is in my health plan.
