About Dr. Jeffrey Fromowitz
Dr. Fromowitz was born in New York and raised in Boca Raton. He attended the University Of Florida College of Medicine where his academic excellence continued in medical school, graduating first in his class with academic honors. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the preeminent medical honor society. This honor is reserved for students that not only excel academically but also provide significant service to the community and the university. Under the tutelage of his mentors, Dr. Flowers; Department Chairman and Dr. Wesson; Residency Program Director, his career in dermatology began.
Dr. Fromowitz completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Shands Hospital - University of Florida’s academic teaching hospital. His residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery was also completed at Shands where he was further honored by serving as the Chief Dermatology Resident in his last year at the University.
Dr. Fromowitz has written extensively and published several articles on a wide range of dermatologic topics. He has lectured at numerous regional and national meetings and continues to be a sought after speaker for his innovative and interactive lecturing approach.
Dr. Fromowitz has accomplished advanced training in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery as well as Mohs Micrographic Surgery
