Offers a wide variety of choices for follow up facilities which accommodate the patient. Provided patient explanations for any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Goldstein!

Dr. Jeffrey L. Goldstein is Founder and Partner of Fountain Medical Group. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, where he is currently on the faculty as an assistant clinical professor. He teaches first and second year medical students clinical skills and diagnostic techniques, as well as Doctor-Patient relationships. He is Residency trained in both Orthopedic Surgery and Emergency Medicine. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Goldstein has worked as an Attending Physician in some of New York’s most prestigious Emergency Departments including Lennox Hill Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and served as the Assistant Director of The New York Westchester Square Medical Center. He trained in Orthopedic Surgery at Brown University-Rhode Island Hospital and in Emergency Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital.

I was not happy at all, especially as a new patient. Due to work scheduling I could not see my usual Ortho. As I was leaving I was asking him a question and he seemed like he could not be bothered, and just as I was re-asking he saw someone in the waiting room he knew and brushed me off and acted as if I was not standing right next to him. Luckily my regular Ortho stayed later so he can see me. Also I needed to schedule an MRI that I know does not need pre-approval, I received a call 8 days later form the office telling me that info that I had already told them. So they waited a week to schedule it. Within that time I saw my Dr and had the MRI completed and went for a follow up. I would not recommend and NEW patients there.

I LOVED my visit to see Jeffrey Goldstein. He took action by giving me immediate treatment and prescriptions for my knee, whereas other doctors just told me it will heal on its own. The nurses I saw beforehand were SO sweet and friendly. The only negative thing I would say is that the guy at the front desk was rude signing me in- which gave me a bad first impression to an otherwise amazing office.

I have had a lot of experience in visiting Orthopedists and I am happy to say that at last I have found my doctor. The office is calm, comfortable and staff are genuinely kind, friendly and professional. Dr. Goldstein is genuinely interested in his patients. His approach calm, present and engaged. He reviewed my records and previous MRI, gave me time to tell my story, examined my knees via ultra sound, examined my knees with the usual meniscus tests, evaluated my walking and asked me about medical history,(PT, medications and pain). This was not the usual rush job that I have grown accustomed to in other practices. Dr. Goldstein explained what he saw as he did the ultra sound and I felt like a partner in my own care.). We reviewed options (he did not push surgery or write me off) and we developed a treatment plan...My first treatment plan in nearly a year of seeking help for me knees!! He also assured me that his office would follow up with insurance (whereas other offices completely dropped the ball). He saw me to the front of the office and provided me with written information about treatment options. This is how an orthopedics visit should be. Dr. Goldstein's office is unusually careful about tracking patients use of pain medication and Dr. Goldstein was delightfully informed about natural remedies to treat inflammation and supported my wish to use them. He told me that if I were to find the natural remedies ineffective (I haven't yet), that he I could reach him to obtain a prescription (I remember how distraught I was with prior doctors when my pain was 9/10 and the meds weren't working). I appreciated the doctor's awareness of how scary it can be to need relief and to not know what to do. Awesome visit!!

Professional and seemed genuinely concerned with my injury. He did not give me a quick diagnosis and wanted to get it right the first time rather than just slap a quick one on me and call it a day so he ran some tests. Wait time was average about 30 minutes which is expected. I was out in an hour which was good since I had to go back to work.

It was an altogether satisfactory experience. The wait was barely longer than the time it took to fill out the standard forms. The doctor was professional and straight to the point. He had an immediate plan of action to diagnose the injury and what seems like a plan of action once the diagnosis is complete. The staff seemed nice and there was no delay in doing anything. I hope my recovery is just as speedy and nice!!

I thought Dr. Goldstein was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Honestly, I would have had a been happier with the visit but the office wasn't that up to date, the equipment seemed aged. Also, for some reason there were photos of women in Maxim magazine - kind of a "Doctor says" article - framed on the walls of the examination room. If I had been a dude, maybe I would have been jazzed, but as a woman it was not a super welcoming environment.

Awesome. Dr. Goldstein has been a pleasure to work wt. I have multiple injuries (both knees, shoulder) so will be seeing him frequently ad ahve no qualms. The practce is completely professional and modern, and I found Dr. Goldstein to be very easy as he explained his opinions and prognosis. Very happy with my experience.

This was my first visit with Dr. Goldstein. I needed a rush appointment for a knee injury and was able to get into the office on the same day. I was seen very quickly, and he is extremely professional. He took the time to explain what was going on, the outlook for the injury, potential procedures, etc. I definitely reccommend using this practice.
