About Dr. Jeffrey Hick
Dr. Jeffrey Hick is a board certified dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic (Mohs) surgeon. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest University and completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Utah. He finished his dermatology residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California (LAC/USC) where he served as a chief resident during his final year. After completing his residency in 2012, Dr. Hick began practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in Orange County and the South Bay.
Dr Hick is passionate about skin cancer and finding the best treatment for every patient. His comprehensive approach to skin cancer involves thorough skin examination, skin cancer prevention, and individualized treatment plans based on his patients’ specific medical history and lifestyle. His approach to cosmetic dermatology is the subtle use of injectables to provide natural-looking improvement. Dr. Hick is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Hick is a volunteer Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at LAC/USC hospital where he teaches surgical skills to dermatology residents.
As an Orange County native and resident, Dr. Hick enjoys sailing, surfing, playing guitar, snowboarding and spending time with his wife Bonnie and their cat, Sylvester.
