About Dr. Jeffrey Sklar
Dr. Sklar has been a chiropractor for over 25 years. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received recognition for clinical excellence and graduated Magna Cum Laude. In 2009, after a successful decade of treating people with various types of pain and injuries from all over Philadelphia in his Old City wellness center, Triune Wellness, he was recruited to be the Medical Director of Chiropractic Services for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia. As a trailblazer in the chiropractic profession, Dr. Sklar developed protocols to treat patients struggling with cancer treatment side effects such as chemo-induced neuropathy, GI and bowel issues, headaches, fatigue, sleep disturbances, muscle cramps, and muscle and joint pain. Patient outcomes most often result in reduced pain, improved energy and focus, and optimized function throughout the body’s frame and its systems.
Many of Dr. Sklar’s case reports are published and can be found online. During his tenure at CTCA, Dr. Sklar lectured and taught his unique and safe techniques throughout the USA and overseas.
Dr. Sklar is a past recipient of the CTCA Starfish Award for Innovation. He has been recognized by New York Chiropractic College and Palmer University for his contributions to the profession. He is currently serving his 10th year on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. Dr. Sklar believes in partnering and collaborating with patients and their support teams, as the primary tenet of chiropractic medicine is to improve quality of life through patient-centered care.

I had to recently find a new chiropractor and my experience with Dr. Jeff Sklar was beyond expectations. He spent time to show me and educate me on his process and how he could help my lower back and neck issues. I did learn some things I was unaware of and he has a unique table that makes adjustments so for the patient. He was caring and excellent with his adjustment techniques - gentle, explained everything well and very effective! He also has this incredible massage chair which is an experience in itself! Dr. Sklar is super sweet and highly competent. I feel 100% confident with his care.

Dr. Sklar was great! I had a terrible pain in my neck and had tried a few things, but nothing was helping. I went to Dr. Sklar a few times, and though I felt some relief after the first session, it wasn’t immediate. But after 4 sessions and recommended icing and exercises, the pain was gone! It’s such a relief!
Dr. Sklar was very knowledgeable and warm. I was nervous going to a chiropractor, and especially nervous about someone touching my neck. But he really earned my confidence.
The office is small, but that’s nice, it feels homey. He has good equipment (as far as I could tell) and he is efficient while still being kind and caring. It’s a little bit of a trek out of Philly, but at least there is easy parking!
I would definitely recommend Dr. Sklar, especially if you are nervous about going to a chiropractor. I can’t guarantee you’ll get the same relief I did, but he is very committed to getting you there and makes you feel comfortable along the way. Very positive experience!

I made a same day appt to see Dr. Sklar after experiencing a back injury and being in significant pain. Dr. Sklar thoroughly explained the mechanics of the back, what was likely happening in my circumstance and treated my injury carefully and thoughtfully. He was warm and sincere from the minute I arrived, generous with his time, clear with his instructions and guidance and set me on a path to recovery. I felt a difference almost immediately and have continued to steadily and slowly improve. A few additional visits made an incredible difference too. Dr. Skylar is absolutely amazing. Being someone dealing with ongoing pain and spinal issues I was excited to have my first chiropractic appointment. At arrival Dr. Skylar was informative about the treatment I would receive and made me feel extremely comfortable about the procedures he would be conducting that day. He literally made contact with every single muscle in my body from neck to foot. All of the procedures were relaxing, painless and relieved pressures and pains that I had endured for years. And this was only the first visit. I’d highly recommend Dr. Skylar for all of your chiropractic and spinal needs. This was more than a chiropractic visit. It was an experience! He also used a range of treatments to help with my injury and care plan. You can tell he really emphasizes patient-centered care and cares about you feeling better, which I really appreciate wholeheartedly.
The office was so calming and clean. Sometimes chiropractic offices can be cold, or feel like a gym, and this was really relaxing. I am finding myself excited to go back and have hope that I will actually feel better.
Definitely recommend this practice! I have been to a lot of chiropractors and this is the best yet.

Dr. Sklar is amazing, bedside manner is off the charts. You can tell he cares about each of his patients due to my interactions with him and how I see him with his other patients. Dr. Sklar helped me release so much tension in my back. He did a great job is explaining the process he needed to take. And stayed consistent in communicating with me about what I needed to have done and how many sessions it would take. He was friendly and had great bedside manner. He was also up front about payments and understanding about financial problems. I was nervous about going to a chiropractor so I put it off for years but I’m glad I waited until I found Dr. Sklar.

I highly recommend anyone to visit Dr. Sklar. He is very attentive and wants to make sure he solves any problem you may have . When you walk in his office he makes every attempt for you to feel better than what you did walking in. Before my appointment he called me to confirm appt, hear my issues and make sure I knew where he was located . Once I got to the office I felt very welcomed and was seen right away. He explained everything he would do to make my neck pain go away and after my visit he even called to check up on me . I have been in pain for about 3 months now , I am on my third visit and my pain in my neck is almost all the way gone from the treatments received . Dr. Sklar truly cares about his patients and wants to make sure they get better .

I scheduled an appointment after experiencing back pain following an epidural. After one visit I felt relief. I have continued to see Dr. Sklar, first 2 days a week, then once now biweekly. I even let him adjust my 7 month old. With some exercise assignments for me to continue at home, I've continued to make progress . Recommend!

I found Dr. Sklar on the ZocDoc app and I’m so happy I did! I suffer from back problems with pain shooting into my leg, and was getting very little relief from anything, including physical therapy which I tried for about 8 weeks. I experienced relief after my first visit with him! I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I made my first appointment. A part of me thought that I was just going to go to the office, lay on a table, have my back cracked and that would be it. Instead, Dr Sklar took the time to get to know me and get more details about the pain I was experiencing. He focused first on decreasing my pain and then down the line will help me understand ways that I can prevent and control it better in the future.
Dr Sklar’s schedule has thankfully been very accommodating. My work schedule makes it hard for me to attend any appointments regularly. His office is also very clean which is another plus!

As someone who is afraid of getting adjusted, Dr. Sklar is the absolute best. He takes the time to ask questions, develop personal goals, and explains everything in depth. There were about 4 or 5 treatments he did before the adjustment even happened and they all felt wonderful. This won’t be an appointment where you walk in, have your spine cracked and leave. I was suffering from a five day consecutive migraine until I left his office. I felt immediate results. Dr Sklar is 11/10.
