Dr. Jennifer Bonheur is a very pleasant, knowledgable doctor. I really love her style! It was my first visit and I was a bit upset, knowing that something wasn't quite right, and she made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend her. Dr. Bonheur has very good follow-up skills, as well, making sure to call back patients who have questions/need more information.

Jennifer L. Bonheur, M.D. is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She received her B.A. from New York University and her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine.
Dr. Bonheur completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she was selected to serve as Chief Medical Resident and received her fellowship training in Gastroenterology. She was the recipient of the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence.
She has published original research articles relating to the practice of gastroenterology and has authored numerous publications including several chapters for the on-line series at www.emedicine.com.
Dr. Bonheur is an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital where she continues to participate in teaching activities of the interns, residents and fellows. She is also a Visiting Attending Physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Bonheur is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the New York Academy of Sciences.
