Dr. Lau explained everything to me clearly and told me the best next steps to help treat my worries. Would highly recommend
I deeply appreciate working with Dr. Lau who is a consummate professional and gives great explanations of health conditions and possible treatment pathways. However, I was incredibly disappointed and honestly borderline traumatized by the behavior of her anesthesiologist. I have never been treated with such disdain and lack of consideration by a medical professional in my life and I ultimately had to cancel my appointment because of his behavior. I would recommend Dr. Lau for any consultation style treatment but not any procedures that require aenesthetic.
During my exam I sat awkwardly in a hall way and she came up didnt look at me and typed on her computer the entire time. She asked me questions and I would answer but still no eye contact. I felt extremely uncomfortable. She then told me all the possible thing that might be wrong but sidnt give much info on how to help or next steps.
Dr Lau was great! Her bedside manner was professional and cordial. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel heard. She listens to the patient and makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Lau!
Dr. Lau is great. She is very thorough, explains all options that may apply to you and give recommendations based on them. The only thing is the waiting time. My appointment was at 3:30pm, but I didn’t see Dr. Lau until 5:00pm.

I finally felt like I had visited a specialist who took time to understand my symptoms. She will not just guess what you have and diagnose you.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Lau today. She took her time to look at all the information that I bought to her from my previous test results and explains to me how she will treat me. She was very detailed with all the procedure. I feel very comfortable and optimistic about Dr. Lau finding a solution about my consistent abdominal bloatness and discomfort. I will highly recommend her.
Beside the long 45 mins wait while I was on time for my appointment, everything else is good.
I am extremely upset about this doctor’s office. Why do I even make an appointment if they are going to take 1 hour to see me. Then, the worse was that one day after my consultation I asked the doctors assistant about my bill or if I had to pay anything and she said “No, do not worry. You are all set” so, I went home. A couple of months passed by and then I received a bill from the doctors office about that days consultation. So, I called the doctors office and they had no customer service whatsoever, it was horrible. NEVER GOING BACK: neither should you.
I’ve seen Dr. Lau for years and definitely recommend her. She’s thorough and pleasant and provides excellent care.
Trustworthy, thoughtful, attentive, articulate doctor. She talks through all the options and her logic leading to a recommendation, while keeping an open mind. What more could you want?

She seemed very competent and thorough.
Dr. Lau was great at answering my questions and suggesting possible treatment methods. I spent around 40 minutes with her and then I was brought to the assistants for document work. The ultrasound scans, blood work, and allergy testing are done at a different hospital or lab. I would suggest calling the office beforehand to confirm your appointment, since my time slot was double booked.

While the visit was much longer than anyone would like, once I was in an exam room a nurse came in promptly for my history. Dr. Lau came in shortly after and spent time listening to what brought me in. She then thoroughly explained the potential causes of my symptoms and the next steps in determining a diagnosis/treatment.

She is very through and spending quantity time with me to go over my symptoms. Glad that I found her. It was overall a positive experience. The only suggestion is that they can make it easier to communicate by creating a patient portal.

Great doctor, very to the point. One of her medical assistants/nurses is great (the young Asian guy). When he’s the one working, the place runs great. He’s friendly and very good at his job. The wait time today was longer than usual.
I went to Dr Lau's new office downtown. Very nice building and office space. It's actually closer to my home than her previous office at 10 Union Square - she is knowledable about my conditions and long term effects of medication. I highly recommend.

Very bad at scheduling
Dr Nancy Lau was very helpful to solve the problem I had. She took extra care to explain every detail of what was happening and presented me all the options. If there's anything that could improve is the billing system for third parties involved in medical tests. It's a bit confusing.
She made me wait over two hours in waiting room, then took a personal cell phone call during my examination.

Dr. Lau is great. Her staff is somewhat incompetent. I was supposed to have a procedure done, and it "slipped their minds" to send in the prescription that I needed ahead of time and to call me to tell me what I needed to do. They were very unapologetic about this mess-up, even though I'd fasted through to the middle of the day for this three-hour procedure. I'm really disappointed, since I've been dealing with issues that I was hoping she could help me solve.
