More about Dr. Jennifer Clark, PsyD
Everyone comes to therapy with different experiences, goals, and expectations—which is why I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs. In order to successfully navigate challenges and improve a patient’s well-being, I am mindful of the multiple identities and social contexts that shape each experience.
For over 20 years, I’ve enjoyed building compassionate and collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, and patients alike, using a cultural and trauma-informed perspective to meet them where they are. I completed my own doctorate in clinical psychology in Chicago at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1999.
After working for 15 years in Chicago in community, court, and academic settings I moved to Oregon where I served for 6 years as Program Director and faculty member at Pacific University’s School of Graduate Psychology. There, I taught and trained doctoral graduate students, imparting an approach that is evidence-based, integrative, and holistic.
I joined Aspire Psychology in 2022 to reignite this passion for helping to enhance the lives of my patients in meaningful ways. I also serve on the Ethics Committee for the Oregon Psychological Association and enjoy giving back to the psychology community at large.
