Jennifer Eckhardt is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned both her Master's in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. Before becoming a PMHNP, Jennifer gained over 18 years of nursing experience working in addiction in pregnancy, inpatient behavioral health, and labor and delivery. While working in addiction nursing, she recognized the need to deepen her understanding of mental health disorders to make a meaningful impact within this community. Jennifer believes that psychotherapy plays a vital role in the holistic care of clients, alongside medication when indicated. One of her main goals is to build therapeutic relationships with her clients.
