About Dr. Jennifer Perez

Dr. Perez is double-board certified in Pediatrics and Obesity Medicine. As a born and raised Chicagoan, she brings two decades of experience in caring for children and families across Chicagoland. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center. She is deeply committed to building trusting, collaborative relationships; where families feel heard, respected, and never rushed during appointments. Dr. Perez believes that combining healthy lifestyle habits with evidence-based care allows children to thrive and supports their long-term wellness. Dr. Perez has additional knowledge and training in lactation consultation, cognitive behavior therapy for anxiety, and autism evaluation. She is passionate about supporting families through vaccine education, obesity prevention and treatment, and caring for children with asthma and allergies. Outside of work, Dr. Perez enjoys fitness, being outdoors and live music. She and her husband love living in this North Side community and spend most weekends cheering on their two sons at sporting events.
