About Jennifer Smith

Welcome to a A Bowl Full of Nutrition. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in eating disorder treatment, meal planning, medical nutrition therapy, weight management, Diabetes Prevention Program counseling and motivational interviewing. I am dedicated to improving health and well-being with a belief in Health at Every Size (HAES), body positivity, intuitive eating, motivational interviewing and Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders and weight management. Find peace with food and body to achieve recovery from your eating disorder. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Kansas State University and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics from The University of Rhode Island. I am licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia and have extensive experience working with eating disorder clients. I trained with The Body Positive Institute and work with clients on improving body image to achieve optimum well being. I am also a certified Diabetes Prevention Program lifestyle coach and have helped many individuals reduce their risk of co-morbidities from diabetes by changing lifestyle habits. I am available for consultations by phone or video. Scheduling is flexible.
