About Dr. Jillian Irwin
Dr. Jillian Irwin was born and raised in Long Island. She received academic, music and community service scholarships for her undergraduate studies at Molloy University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Ethics. She attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she served in leadership roles within classes, clinical rotations and clubs. Upon receiving her DPM degree, Dr. Irwin completed her three year surgical residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau, where she served as chief resident and gained experience in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery, trauma, diabetic limb salvage, biomechanics and medicine. Dr. Irwin enjoys spending free time with her family, seeing Broadway shows, visiting museums and traveling.

“Dr. Irwin is an exceptionally kind and attentive provider. I am very grateful that she takes the time to thoroughly explain what will be done, rather than rushing through the visit as many providers do. I truly appreciate her clear communication style—she explains what to do and what to avoid instead of assuming patients will look things up on their own. As someone who works in healthcare and insurance, I know this level of communication truly matters.
Her front desk staff were also very friendly and kind. I called ahead to let them know we might be a little late due to a snow day and stopping to help an elderly woman cross the street. When we arrived, she was welcoming, showed no attitude, and even thanked us for calling ahead which is totally different than what I’ve experienced with other providers in NY. She even said that they’re grateful we showed up due to the snow.
