They canceled on me and said if I resubmit documents and assessments needed they will see who in terms of doctors they can match me on their own. When I already searched my own and wanted to have a session with her

The psychiatric consultation seemed to be disorganized and inconsistent to the point where it left out a lot of important criteria. During the consultation, she might as well had a coloring book because it seemed that she took more notes rather than active listening. She seemed to be more ignorant and dismissive of my medical conditions and symptoms instead of therapeutic and empathetic. Towards the end of the appointment she referred me to someone else instead of discussing a follow-up appointment or possible treatment plans to think about.

The doctor was extremely professional and a great listener. We talked extensively about my mental health history so she could get an accurate picture about what's going on. She asked great questions and made me feel heard. I can't wait to work with her again.
