About Dr. Joann Bolude
I am dual-boarded in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I completed my medical degree at the University of Illinois Chicago and earned my bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. I also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital. I care for patients with questions or concerns about blood disorders, tumors or abnormal growths, and non-specific signs and symptoms. I provide therapy with medicinal treatments but also support natural ways to treat diseases and disorders to reduce exposure to medications that may cause adverse side effects and symptoms. I believe in partnering with my patients to treat disease and ensuring you understand why certain therapies are recommended. Listening to patients is key in uncovering the diagnosis, so making sure you are heard is paramount to me as a provider giving you the most effective treatment for your condition. I also believe that when patients understand why they are being recommended certain therapies, it increases compliance and builds trust. I am a strong believer in God and believe in praying with any of my patients who value both spiritual and medicinal therapy because studies have shown that using both methods can expedite the road to good health.

It was an excellent experience since, first of all, we didn't have to drive. Our questions were answered thoroughly. It was beneficial to understand the health condition and the possible cause/s. Lab was ordered to support the causes.
