Dr. Sarantakos was excellent--very thorough, professional, and friendly. However, the office at 314 Livingston Street needs serious work/renovation. The carpets are stained, the bathroom was tiny and not well stocked, and everything (including most of the medical equipment) seemed as if was from the 1970s.

Im in my 30's and the the first time I went to an eye Doctor was in my teens and today was the first time I saw a picture of my eyes and see the reason I cant see clearly on my left eye and the pics was very interesting. I believe her and her assistants are competent in there ability to treat patients. However, I believe they should tell patient ahead of writing a prescription that they insurance will not cover the full payment, and they will have to pay cash. I believe then the patient will be able to make a competent decision based on their immediate need

I absolutely love this place and the staff here are awesome, especially Dr. Sarantkos and Judith (the receptionist). My appointment was at 11:45 but because I finished at my previous appointment, I thought I would just head in to see if I could be see at about 11:00. I really wasn't expecting anything but Judith professionally told me the Doctor wasn't in yet and there were 3 appointments ahead of me. I waited just about 10 mins and when the doctor got there, she called me. The whole process was quick, painless and highly informative. I would definitely be going back and referring friends
