Dr. Leo Esses is a graduate of the prestigious State University of New York, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree. His pleasant and approachable demeanor allows him to develop great relationships with his patients. Dr. Esses' love for family helped him choose family practice, where he is very happy to see patients of all ages.
He is currently working for Lens Lab Express/General Vision Services, where he has been for over 7 years. Dr. Esses sees patients for eyeglasses and contact lenses. He also diagnoses and treats patients for red eyes, allergies, cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, and many other eye diseases.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was the last appointment for the day and he left early. I arrived on time and the person behind the counter laughed that he wasn’t there. Completely unprofessional

Office was dingy and dirty, not sure if fit for medical office, as well as doctor didn’t know I was coming and pretty much me showed me in and out. I explained my symptoms but his communication was so unclear and he spent all of five minutes checking my eye. I still feel issues with my eye and the medicine didn’t clear it up.

Incredibly swift service and would have been 0 wait if my appointment wasn’t rescheduled a minute before it was supposed to start. I arrived 1 minute late and there was a sign on the door saying they’d be back at the start of my appointment. No explanation was offered when my appointment started 30 mins later.
The office was incredibly dirty, cobwebs in the windows and dust on the chairs, but there was a machine I’ve never used before that got an image of my retina without dilation and I thought that was very cool!
The provider was helpful and explained the different machinery but as a bit of a germaphobe, there should be more care with cleanliness and communication with patients.

Showed up 30 minutes early and he seemed like he was shutting down shop. Didn’t seem to know why I was there either so I guess he isn’t always aware of his booked appointments. Entire process was rushed and gained minimal information so either his knowledge is limited or he didn’t care enough to explain to his best ability. Had audacity to pitch the idea of adding in new lens on top of what I was paying for his rushed services. I recommend picking some where else and get your moneys worth.

The doctor is very nice but the office aesthetic is terrible! I honestly almost walked out when i came into the office. The frame selection is horrible. If it weren’t for the doctor being so good then i wouldn’t go back. I also won’t be purchasing my glasses from them.

Dr. Leo was some what friendly, although I felt he tried to get me to pay out of pocket for something my insurance covers 100%. The office needs a deep cleaning, there is dirt and dust covering the walls and floor in the back office. It took 2 weeks to receive my glasses.

I was provided with immediate relief after an exam of my eye. I was seen right away with no wait and even got a pair of vision glasses. The prescribed medication immediately reduced the swelling and irritation around my eye. He is the ABSOLUTE BEST!
