About Dr. Angelica Delgado
Dr. Angelica V. Delgado practices the full scope of primary care optometry while working with other healthcare providers within the community. Dr. Delgado is compassionate and knowledgeable; she aims to help patients improve their quality of life through vision.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, from immigrant Ecuadorian parents, Dr. Delgado received her Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University. She went on to receive her doctorate of optometry at Salus University. At Salus University, she received various ocular disease exposure and training from Brooklyn Veteran’s Hospital, St. Alban’s Veteran’s Hospital, Silicon Valley Eye Associates, and Sarasota Eye Clinic. Her strong clinical background enables her to comfortably diagnose and manage ocular disease, such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy. She is also able to perform routine, pediatric and comprehensive eye exams.
As an optometrist and member of the community, Dr. Delgado is dedicated to serve and educate the public on the importance of regular eye exams through vision screenings and local community events. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring different cultures with friends and family through food, art and travel, and practices yoga regularly.

Highly recommend this optometrist.
They have great hours (and are open on the weekends). I was able to schedule an appointment and it was confirmed by the office within 24 hours.

The experience was very professional. The entire staff was courteous and friendly .and there was no wait time . Dr. Delgado was pleasant and explained the results of my eye exam throughly and in detail. In addition, after the assessment of my eyes she gave me her recommendation for treatment. Loved the experience! The doctor was prompt, didn't rush me through the exam, answered my questions and worked with me to solve my concerns with my old prescription. Office manager was amazing as well, helped me get the most from my insurance coverage.

One of the best doctor's visits I've ever had! The staff were kind, courteous, and so patient. Firstly, I was running behind almost 25 mins late and when I called to inform the office, the receptionist was kind and understanding. When I arrived, I was seen almost immediately.
Dr. Delgado herself was awesome—she listened to my concerns and made sure to take her time to ensure that I had the right prescription and fit. Even with another patient in the waiting room, I didn't feel like she rushed through the visit and she was thorough in her explanations. When checking out, her staff were efficient but very clear about explaining the different charges and how to best utilize my insurance + discounts. I wasn't upsold on unnecessary things. I look forward to making Dr. Delgado my regular eye doctor and would highly recommend!

I've never had an eye exam before and was impressed at how fast and thorough it all was. The staff, and especially the doctor, were very friendly and succinct.
They have it set up so that there's really no guess work. They have vision machines that detect any issues you may have and they photograph your eyes to assess the potential for illness or disease. Because Dr. Delgado is a pro, she analyzed the images in real time and told me what to consider and look out for (in my case she suggested getting good sunglasses to cut down on any damage the sun might cause to my eyes).
I was in and out in about 30 minutes and couldn't be happier!

I went for a general check up and to order more contacts. I had a very positive experience. It was my first time visiting and all of the staff including the Dr. Delgado were warm, welcoming, and professional. She was patient, an active listener, and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed and yet the appointment was fairly quick and easy.
