About Dr. Joe Glowiak

Dr. Glowiak received his Chiropractic training at National University of Health Sciences where there is a focus on natural primary care. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in April of 2016. While in practice, he completed his Master’s in Nutrition and Functional Medicine at University of Western States (UWS), Portland, OR, which is partnered with the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Glowiak has been using supplements and diet modification with this family and himself throughout his education. He was also selected by his Dean to serve as the first ever UWS ambassador to the Students in Nutrition Movement sponsored by the American College of Nutrition (ACN). Dr. Glowiak is both experienced in physical medicine and has basic training in acupuncture and uses this knowledge in his role to appropriately integrate with the other practitioners at Aligned Modern Health. He specializes in working with patients on digestive conditions, weight management, and adrenal stress, among other conditions. During his education and to this day, Dr. Glowiak continues stay current by taking post-graduate seminars in various topics related to Functional Medicine. Many of these contribute to future candidacy as a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI).

Dr. Glowiak is such a pleasure to work with. His bedside manner is phenomenal. Many other doctors I have seen do not take the time to listen, but Dr. Glowiak actually listens to what is going on rather than assuming he already knows what I am going to say. He has given me so much good advice on how to improve my health over the years, especially as it pertains to my stomach issues.
