I am a doctor who specializes in psychiatry. I graduated with my M.D. from the State University of New York in 2005. I completed residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Zucker Hillside Hospital, a program affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of medicine, 2005-2009. I was a Chief Resident there during the 2008-2009 year.
After residency, I worked a few years as an Attending Inpatient Psychiatrist at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. I continue to hold the title of Clinical Assistant Instructor at New York University Medical Center.
I also do some part time work with nonprofits providing psychiatric care to underserved populations in New York City.
I am also a diplomate of The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I try to understand your specific situation and challenges, and then offer a range of appropriate treatment options. Psychotherapy alone may be useful for some. Others might do well with medications alone. Still others might do best with psychotherapy and medications. I am experienced with and can offer a range of treatments.
