About Dr. John W Wilkins
Dr. Wilkins received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following that, he worked as a Safety Administrator for McNeil Consumer Products, a division of Johnson & Johnson Inc. At McNeil Consumer Products, Dr. Wilkins was responsible for site management safety protocols as well as auditing the facility for safety hazards and ergonomic issues. McNeil Consumer was a leader in safety initiatives and achieved industry-wide record lows for LTW (lost time from work) injuries. His close work with the healthcare team at McNeil inspired Dr. Wilkins to leave his career in Industrial Engineering and pursue his current career in Chiropractic. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. With his advanced training, Dr. Wilkins now focuses on the prevention and correction of health-related problems as they relate to the spine.

I have now seen Dr. Wilkins twice. I was struggling with some pretty serious lower back pain. I’ve been treated with respect by him and all the staff during both visits. The first visit consisted mostly of tests/checks performed by the staff. Dr. Wilkins went over some of the initial findings and adjusted my back. I felt near immediate relief after the first visit. My pain dropped dramatically and gained most of my mobility returned. The second visit was relatively quick. Dr. Wilkins went over his assessment of the results of the tests/checks and adjusted my back again. I am basically pain free now with just some tightness that remains, which I can work on stretching/strengthening. I’m very grateful for the care I received!

Dr. Wilkins was very clear and thorough with explaining what to expect during treatment. He really listened to what I had to say and asked for and values my input on how I’m feeling overall and with regards to treatment. He is not pushy, but honest and straightforward. We went over both short term and long term goals. It was nice to know that he really cares about my health in its entirety and not just my posture.

Upon arrival the front desk staff and chiropractic assistant were warm, friendly and took the time to explain what would take place. Dr. Wilkins was great as he took the time to thoroughly examine my condition, listen to my concerns and provided a great treatment. Even after just one visit I can feel a positive difference!
