“Dr. Lewin is the best of the best of spinal specialists. He listens and answers all questions clearly and concerns in a respectful manner. The office is very clean, flexible and extremely organized and prompt with any issue one might encounter. I am fairly new with Dr. Lewin since my original spine specialist left the New York offices from the same group. Following I was "handed down"(absolutely no pun intended) to Dr. Lewin and absolutely love him. I feel lucky having such wonderful orthopedic surgeons from the same group of this practice. I highly recommend them. ”

“My father is 94 with chronic neck pain. It affects him when he stands, walks, and tries to do simple activities. He had been previously diagnosed with stenosis of the neck, but Dr Lewin is suspecting it could be an arthritis. We'll be checking that out. Meanwhile, he gave him steroid shots to the neck. Dr Lewin was friendly, he quickly but efficiently looked over all my dad's previous tests and MRI disc, and asked pertinent questions. I felt his work was thorough, clear, accurate. His assistant was also excellent in these tasks. So far my dad is feeling better. We're hoping this will be helpful long term. ”

About Dr. Jonathan Lewin
Jonathan D. Lewin is an alumnus of the Yeshiva College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989.
In 1993 he graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with his Doctorate in Medicine.
Between 1994 and 1998, Dr. Lewin completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center. Following his residency, he also completed his Pediatric and Adult Medicine Surgery Fellowship at the Shriner’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University Hospital, Cooper University, and Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Lewin is licensed to practice medicine in several states including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is the Director of Spine Surgery at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Unfortunately, another Top Trauma
Orthopedic who cannot help me. My
catastrophic L5-S1 severe/constant Pain From Congenital Malformation/Disruption/ Dysfunction/Spinal- Instability, remains too complex to Treat/Repair. Amazingly, technology has not at all changed in 22 years. ?? Nothing - except, not being able to receive the actual “Best Practice in Pain Management.” Pain Medication.
Complete lunacy and disrespect for
those of us who suffer needlessly.

I was referred to see Dr. Lewin after my MVA on 9-11-14. He has done a cemcal fusion on me and I feel great. He is wonderfull Dr and is very caring.

Dr. Lewin & the staff were very attentive to all my needs. I've had severe back pain for the past 3 years and Dr. Lewin gave me faith. He walked me through my treatment thoroughly. I'm very pleased w/ my visit and would 100% recommend him to everyone!
