He was very thorough in his explanation. Nice guy and took his time with me. I would highly recommend.
An extremely thorough and professional physician.
He was absolutely amazing!
Dr. Erber is very knowledgeable and friendly with an excellent bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
simply professional and kind staff.
Dr. Erber took the time to listen, then wasting no time gave me a complete checkup. took the time to explain what he found an how to treat it. GREAT doctor.
It was my first visit, so he just interviewed me about my condition and medical history, and set up an appointment for an endoscopy. However, the wait was very short and his "bedside manner" was excellent. What more could I ask for?
Dr. Erber was great. The visit began with us talking in his office about my history and then proceeded to an exam room for a quick exam. He listened and recommended a course of treatment that I believe in. We're not at the end of the problem yet, but I was very pleased with my first visit and I would recommend him to anyone with gastro questions.
Awesome... takes the time to do my office visit ...
both Jonathan and his father are simply brilliant! the office is amazing -- every single staff member is cordial, efficient professional and well downright homey feeling! this doctor really really cares about his patients...i am so fortunate to have this doctor who is insightful compassionate and truly interested in your greater good and optimal health.
i love this practice and all the Erbers! lol [it's a father and son practice]. brilliant, compassionate, caring and just down right lovely and decent [including staff which are quite amazing themselves!]. thank goodness for this practice - where patients are treated with honesty and directness - and btw its a crazy busy practice but each person is shown respect.
Very friendly, explained everything well and took his time with everything to make sure I understood and didn't have any questions. I didn't feel rushed which is uncommon nowadays.
I've been experiencing some very conflicting symptoms and results for the past 4 mos battling an infection. Needless to say I've been floating around to several doctors for multitude of tests to figure out what is the culprit. It's been an emotionally exhausting and discouraging process w/ inconclusive results/ lack of treatment thus getting worse. Needless to say, there's a lot of apathetic and disconcerting doctors which is unfortunate when you're extremely ill daily and cannot get the treatment you need. When I met with Dr. Erber he sensed my frustration and my anxiety from floating around and the length of time being ill. He felt my daily symptoms were needed for urgent care and I was booked right away. I was pleasantly surprised he was understanding, kind and patient towards my concerns. He was proactive about my concerns and granted my request for a colonoscopy and endoscopy in 1 session which normally isn't done. This was what made me confident that he's a great doctor, a genuine and compassionate doctor [unfortunately rare w/ long hr+ waits and only to be diagnosed in less than 10 mins flat] that is listening to the patient and not just relying on "facts" w/ conflicting tests before he gave his own opinion/ diagnoses. My procedure went well though he didn't see anything troublesome, he still ordered tests to follow up. I'm confident that I will be in good hands and soon enough well again. If anyone is going to find this troublesome culprit, I would bet it's Dr. Erber. Thank you for making a difference w/ your presence and making my health a priority. :)
He is great but his staff is a little unorganized.
he was very professional and informative.
receptionist's had me check in again after I explained that I checked in on zoc doc. Not the first time this has happened at a doctor's office in Brooklyn. I just don't think they understand how it works. The doctor was very friendly and professional. Will be going back for follow ups
Super busy office jam packed with people. I wasn't sure how they could handle that many appts with only two doctors but I ended up getting in about 45 mins after I arrived. The staff was a little confused and flustered but nice nonetheless and the doctor was also nice.
Dr. Erber was kind, concerned and professional.
He addressed my issues and gave me great solutions. Would go back to him for sure!
I recently moved to New York after having lived for eighteen years in Chicago. As things happen, before I had the opportunity to establish a relationship with a primary care physician in my new home, I found myself in need of finding a Gastroenterologist… and fast. After some research online I took a chance and booked an appointment with Dr. Erber based on his profile and appointment availability – it was a Friday before a weekend and the following week was Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly and Dr. Erber was very knowledgeable and had a warm friendly manner, but more importantly, based on his thorough explanation of his assessment and plan for treatment I left his office feeling confident that I was under the right care and that I was going to get better. Thank you!
He had excellent bedside manner and was super friendly.
Very friendly and sweet guy
Great provider excellent office staff!
Staff was friendly and the doctor was attentive and very informative.
The doctor is very kind, professional and friendly. I did an endoscopy in this office without any worries, you can trust this guys even though they look a little young for doctors.
Discrimination is the best i can describe it!
Thumbs up to this doc, the staff was really professional and the doc was very helpful. Would recommended him anytime!!!!!
Explained the course of treatment in a calm, professional manner. He was a pleasure to speak with.
Everyone in the office was polite and professional. I would recommend this doctor.
I really like the office setting, the staff’s mannerism and Doctor Jonathan Erber’s thoroughness. He went all the way to look for the best possible treatment for me after I arrived in the US back in 2011. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
He's Cool and so is his Dad. Both of my appointments went smooth
He seems professional, however, his staff is not.
Clean waiting room and friendly staff. Dr. Erber is very thorough and easy to speak with.
Attentive, caring, and meticulous doctor. You are in good hands with him.
Great Dr who really cared. Thanks
Very knowledgeable and professional... This practice is highly recommended!
Dr. Erber is one of the best doctors I ever been to. I was suffering from an aliment that required immediate surgery. After a diagnosis he passed me off to his hospital. He followed me thru every step of their evaluation and surgery, in cases vastly speeding up the bureaucracy. He has followed up with me almost daily since the surgery to make sure all is well. I have never had a doctor who been so attentive. Only wish he was a GP so I could go to him for everything.
The office staff are professional and fast; I went through the check in and processing within 10 minutes of arriving. I saw Dr Erber within 20 minutes of my arrival.Dr. Erber listened to my complaints gave me some information about what could be the problem conducted an exam and informed me of what tests I would need. I would rate Dr. Erber and his staff as excellent.
excelent recpetion nice doc
Excellent bedside manner and real concern for my well-being. Got a prescription in my first visit and felt better a few hours later.
Great Doctor .He answers all your questions , encourages you to call him for anything and his office follows up.His father is at the same office so double the experience.I realized he gathers alot of info and then begins his process with you.
Fantastic doctor! Excellent bedside manner and took time to address all of my concerns. Office is very clean, comfortable and staff all very friendly.
He is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Both of the Erbers are great doctors!
All doctors need to be this guy. The office is nice and I was seen within 30 minutes (which included completing preliminary paperwork). Erber clearly knows his field well. He's funny (the man has an Easy Button on his desk) and seems to care a lot about his patients. I saw him one time and not only did he help with my problem, but he also gave me great life advice and guidance that I did not expect to hear from a gastroenterologist. If you ever need to see a specialist in that field, go hear for a fun, no-hassle experience (that's right, I said fun).
I think the visit was informative, not really knowing was going on with my situation. Im still have the same problem. but it was only my first visit so the doctor seems very nice and knowledgable about his speciality. I will have to see what's next. I love the fact that I was able to go into his office right away.I certainly will review again after visiting again.. Testing was great as well as staff.
The doctor was very attentive and knowledgeable. The receptionist was nice and welcoming. No waiting time! Highly recommend.
Father and son share this practice. I saw the father. He was pretty good if a little insistent that I see a nutritionist. Has a tendency to ask the same questions several times. The only take cash or check but agreed to bill me since I only brought my FSA card.
Everything was perfect aside from the wait time.
