Getting to know Jonathan Kaminar
My name is Jonathan Kaminar, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University in 2012 and have gained experience in various settings, including critical care, ER, and Neuro ICU. I have furthered my education at the University of Texas at Arlington, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing.
The things you have encountered in life are unique to you. While we have not walked the same path in life, we understand you are having a human experience, full of ups and downs. The goal of Revive Psychiatry is to give people struggling with mental health issues access to care where it might not be available. What should a new client know about working with you?
I offer mental health services to patients aged 18 and older. I have strong focus on treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I offer virtual appointments statewide to patients in Oklahoma. For patients who prefer in person appointments, our office is located in Durant, OK.
With a decade of service in the United States Army as both a medic and an Infantry Officer, I possess a strong commitment to aiding those in need. I strive to ensure that my patients feel cared for, understood, and respected. I work with patients to find effective and affordable treatments.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will contact you within 24 hours to complete your booking and set up your patient portal. Please, respond to any phone call or text message that comes from the practice.
Disability: We do not do disability paperwork for new patients. Patients must be established with the practice for a minimum of 30 days.
Payment: Payment is expected at the time of service and a payment method is expected to be kept on file. If you are not comfortable with this, please, select another practice.
ADHD: We do not prescribe controlled medications for ADHD at Revive Psychiatry.
We generally have next day appointments available and after hours appointments can sometimes be arranged. Please, ask if there is other availability that might better suit you.
During our visit, you will be given the opportunity to share your story free of judgment. We are empathetic to what you may be going through and are compassionate about helping you with your struggles. At the end of the consultation, clients can expect a full diagnosis, treatment plan, and follow up scheduling
