“The doctor was knowledable. Gave me trigger shots to help my pain. He ordered tests. He was nice. But a little short and seemed in a hurry. I asked for Tylenol 3. He said no. I was am taking way too much much Excedrin.
I did not sign all the paperwork. Zocdoc said he took my insurance. The paperwork said he wasn’t in my network. So I don’t know if I can see him again. I will get the MRI. I will need an epidural shot but my insurance needs to pay for it. He mentioned trying massage , physical therapy. I said no and no. It puts me in more pain.
I have not decided. He treated me at least but not sure about the rest.

About Dr. Jonathan Simhaee
Dr. Jonathan Simhaee received his undergraduate degree from the prestigious Yeshiva University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned degrees in Sociology and Judaic Studies. He completed his undergraduate studies in three years and attended the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Sackler School of Medicine in Ramat Aviv, Israel, to continue his medical education and earn his Doctor of Medicine degree. It was there that Dr. Simhaee was introduced to the field of Physiatry. In 2009, Dr. Simhaee returned stateside to join Nassau University Medical Center and completed a preliminary year of Internal Medicine. He then joined the world-renowned Rusk Institute at NYU Langone Health, where he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With an emphasis on the integrity of the spine and pain management, Dr. Simhaee completed an Interventional Pain Management fellowship in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where he was recognized for his outstanding rapport with patients and received the "Best Hands" award. Dr. Simhaee understands his patients' concerns regarding their pain. His goal is to alleviate pain and improve overall functionality. In doing so, he utilizes a comprehensive approach that enables and empowers his patients. His philosophy involves self-education and includes conservative treatments (physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage, electrical stimulation, etc.) as well as more aggressive modalities (medications, trigger point injections, spine injections). One year ago I was referred to Dr. Simhaee, for treatment due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was very empathetic to my pain, took his time and listened to what hails me. The course of treatment and care he is providing me is excellent. He lets me know what I’m doing wrong and corrects the problem . His office staff is very friendly and professional. I cannot ask for better care. Dr. Simhaee gets 10 stars from me. Anyone who gives him a negative rating must have been having a bad day and took their frustration out on him. A million kudos to Dr. Simhaee and his staff.

I've been seeing Dr. Simhaee for the pat year, since a motor vehicle accident. He's really helped me out. A great listener. Respectful and makes just enough eye contact. He's stuck with me throughout the process. Took care of all my paperwork, discussed whatever needed to be done with my attorneys. Most importantly, he got me walking straight and pain free again. My entire experience at the office of Dr. Simhaee was incredible! It was a simple process to make my appointment over the phone with welcoming staff when I walked in for my first appointment. The waiting room was full which is comforting, meaning it may be worth the wait. I was taken in within minutes while still filling out my paperwork, which the Medical assistant helped me finish. All my records were prepared for the Doctor accordingly.
Dr. Simhaee entered my exam room and already knew my history so that we could briefly go over what had already been told with the assistant prior. I was very pleased with not having to repeat myself and only having to finish a physical exam and diagnosis. The Doctor took his time to look over my MRIs that I had done one year ago and was explained to exactly what my diagnosis is. I was informed of what treatments are available for my condition and given the better knowledge to try avoiding having to jump into a procedure and/or any surgery in the near future. I am also trying to avoid any pain medication and actually trying to better my condition with strengthening and if needed injections. Dr. Simhaee was very caring with my concerns and made me feel better by sending me to physical therapy and the option of anti-inflammatory as needed. The options of me wanting an epidural or trigger injections are also available to me if therapy does not help. Thank You Dr. Simhaee and The Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders Staff, I will most definitely be following up!

WOW!!!
This was my follow up visit. Dr. Simhaee gave me an injection last week. He was confidant it would work but I had no idea it would be this good. The injection barely hurt, it was a small pinch, literally took a few seconds. I can honestly say, I am 100% better. As if I never had the pain before. I am ecstatic and grateful!!

Dr. Simhaee is an incredible doctor! I came to the office a few weeks with my MRI due to my back pain and he thoroughly took his time to explain my diagnosis and treatment options. Third time i came to see Dr. Simhaee and each time I was more and more impressed. His office is nice, staff is friendly, the doctor himself is punctual and kind. Spent a good amount of time getting my history and examining me. He sent me for therapy and imaging, and just today I did my knee injection.So far, so good. He also went helped me with all the paperwork I needed done. Very impressed and pleased. Will certainly return!

Dr Simhaee is not thorough and uncaring. I went to him in severe pain and he did not examine me, did not talk to me and did not prescribe any medication or treatments. When I did the tests he asked and came back he named two other conditions in addition to the one i came in with and said they were “no big deal” and offered me no treatment.
He spent all of five minutes with me the first time and two minutes with me the second time. He actually prescribed me shots for having pain running down my legs. I told him multiple times I didn’t have pain running down my legs. When I told him about where my pain was and asked him questions, he told me good bye and walked out of the office! Very rude. I won’t be recommending him nor will I be returning.

He barely saw me. Asked a couple questions and then asked for a discount from the company I work for when I’ve been in pain for such a long time. Nurse seem to mock my history of depression. I came here because of the great reviews and took the bus an hour and a half. I’m really disappointed.

If there is a perfect physician, Doctor Simhaee is the one. I have been to so many doctors and he is really the only one that showed me sincerity and he is doing everything he can to make me better. I will continue seeing him as needed and look forward to continued relief

Dr. Jonathan Simhaee and the staff at The Queens Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders in Forest Hill Queens are outstanding. They are caring and extremely professional. My experience there was pleasant and fast. In January, I had a bilateral MBB (Medial Branch Block) on my lower back. The procedure was quick and painless and now, I have never felt better. Dr. Simhaee was knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining what to expect before and after the procedure. I would highly recommend him and his office to anyone in need of relieving their back pain.

I came to doctor Simhaee after my car accident. I am very impressed l. The office is top notch, fast service. He is very cordial and spends his time explaining things in detail.
