About Dr. Jordan B Pasternack
Jordan Pasternack, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical care of foot and ankle injuries and conditions. He treats all conditions of the foot and ankle including but not limited to ankle and foot arthritis, Achilles ruptures, tendonitis, fractures, bunions, hammertoe, ankle sprains, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flatfoot, Morton’s Neuroma, and other foot or toe deformities.
Dr. Pasternack believes in treating the whole patient and not just the specific ailment from which they are suffering. He considers all factors of a patient’s life, and what his or her goals are, when discussing and recommending treatment options. He offers patients a range of treatment options tailored to their individual foot conditions, including both non-surgical and surgical approaches. Non-surgical options include injections, medications, and physical therapy. In cases where surgical intervention is needed, Dr. Pasternack is experienced in a variety of procedures such as ankle replacements, Achilles tendon repairs, bunion surgeries, foot and ankle reconstructions, fusions, and fracture fixation.
Dr. Pasternack earned his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. Dr. Pasternack completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, followed by a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the esteemed MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
