About Dr. Joseph Daibes
Joseph A. Daibes, DO, FACC is a five-time board-certified New Jersey interventional cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and advanced vein care. Born and raised in Wayne, New Jersey, he graduated from Montclair State University with a dual major in Molecular Biology and Chemistry before earning his Osteopathic Medical Degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida.
Dr. Daibes completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Heart at Mount Sinai Morningside, where he served as Chief Fellow. He then returned to Lenox Hill Hospital to complete advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology, gaining extensive experience in complex coronary interventions and minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures.
He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
As the founder of New Jersey Heart and Vein, Dr. Daibes provides state-of-the-art interventional, cardiovascular, and vein care, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and compassion. He remains deeply committed to medical education and serves as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. His academic work includes multiple peer-reviewed publications, book chapter contributions, and conference presentations in the fields of interventional cardiology, coronary physiology, and venous disease.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Daibes values time with his family, enjoys fitness and travel, and is passionate about exploring new restaurants and staying active within the Northern New Jersey community — interests that reflect his connection to the region and his patient-centered approach to care.

I thought Dr. Daibes and the PA I saw were very nice and personable, the front desk staff were very sweet, but I did not have a good experience with the individual who did my intake/the initial questions. The way she spoke was condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable. The PA gave her specific instructions of tests to do and she didn't do them. When I questioned her on why we weren't doing them, she stated that the PA told her they weren't needed. I had been in the room the entire time and that was never said to her. By that point I was uncomfortable enough where I just wanted to leave so I let it go, then as I was checking out, I watched as the PA questioned her on why she didn't do the other tests and told her to make sure she does them next time. I will not be returning to this office.

The office staff are all great. The waiting time was 15 minutes or less. Everyone was helpful and attentive. Dr. Daibes is pleasant and knowledgeable. Lab. work, Echo and Doppler were ordered and one within 1 hour.

I realized I needed a cardiologist last night around 5:30p after offices were closed for the day. I hopped on Zocdoc and found Dr. Daibes with amazing reviews and an appointment first thing this morning. He lived up to every review written. Maybe most importantly, he greeted me the minute he saw me in the waiting room. He shook my hand and introduced himself. Every other doctor I've ever been to doesn't even interact with patients until in the room and this really stood out to me about his character. He was kind, personable, reassuring, and genuinely interested in all aspects of my health. I left feeling a deep sense of calm and gratitude. The office staff were all very friendly and helpful. The office itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. I contacted so many good friends after my appointment to immediately recommend Dr. Daibes and his office. If you're even slightly considering going, go. You won't regret it.

I can't express just how happy I am with my experience here. The office was super clean. The staff was unbelievably friendly and concerned for my health. They were super helpful in guiding me through retrieving records from another office. Dr. Daibes was exceptionally thorough. He digs deep, listens and explains things very well.
