Dr. Zelefsky is an exceptional doctor, but what sets him aside most is his ability to relate to his patients as people. I presented at his office with a condition that had come on some what quickly, and I was nervous about what it might be. Dr. Zelefsky performed a thorough examination and immediately set my mind at ease, explaining in a clear and easy-to-understand way about my condition. Dr. Zelefsky's kindness & sense of humor made me what is normally an uncomfortable experience into a pleasant one. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased with Dr. Zelefsky. He was very professional and at the same time attentive to my concerns. He was very patient with me ( and my fear of eye drops!) I felt he was very knowledgeable and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Zelefsky.

He then completed his ophthalmology residency at New York University and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital followed by fellowship training in glaucoma at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary with Drs. Robert Ritch, Jeffrey Liebmann and Celso Tello.He has lectured extensively across the country and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on glaucoma and other ophthalmological conditions.
