Dr. Martin is a native of West Texas and the Texas Panhandle and is very excited to be practicing in San Antonio. He attended Texas A&M University where he was on the Dean’s List and received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology in 2007. Dr. Martin was awarded his Doctor of Optometry in May 2012 when he graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He was recognized there with clinical letters of excellence in areas of Family Practice and Ocular Disease. Dr. Martin obtained his Glaucoma Certification in August 2012.
Dr. Martin’s interest in optometry sparked from mission work in South America where he worked alongside an optometrist providing vision care for less fortunate individuals. Dr. Martin completed his clinical rotations of ocular disease in San Antonio and Austin. He is also a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Martin currently practices at MacArthur Park Vision Source and Alamo Heights Vision Source in San Antonio as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

Excellent provider that can do exams for glasses and/or contacts. State of the art equipment, with knowledgeable technicians. Dr. Martin keeps up with technology as well as up to date with contact lenses.
