About Dr. Sanjay Nancherla
Hi, I am Dr. Sanjay Nancherla and I was raised in San Antonio, TX – a true native! I received my Bachelor of Science from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and earned my doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry. I completed my clinical rotations in ocular disease at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX and surgical rotations at NSUOCO in Tahlequah, OK.
With years of experience managing complicated vision problems, advanced eye disease, and managing complicated cases - I decided to open Eye Theory Stone Oak - to serve the San Antonio community!

In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball with friends and traveling with my family! I also have to say, I am a big spurs fan!

Everything was great with my appointment, dr was great, store was great, services was fast and great but was very underwhelming with the men's choice of glasses. What it seemed like was maybe 5 choices for men's and the rest were for females. I usually buy online but today was suppose to be the day that I wanted to spend whatever to get what I really wanted but the selection for men's glasses was just not there. Like I said the service was amazing, fast which was good, staff was great and explained everything really good, I would recommend it but just not for the men's choices of glasses.

Overall great experience! Very professional doctor and staff. Customer service is best I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. No wait as I was the only one there. It’s a new practice so that makes sense. Exam was reasonably priced with insurance. Glasses & sunglasses were on the pricy side but it may be worth it to get better glasses… we’ll see once I get them. The store is clean, organized, modern, & smells good. Up-to-date eye exam equipment and they don’t do the puff in the eye thing which was a nice surprise! Overall, a 5 star experience.

He carefully examined and explained in detail everything we needed to know. He’s an Excellent communicator. His assistant Amy is very professional. I couldn't wait until Dr. Nancherla's office opened! Their office is beautiful!! They have all of the newest eye exam equipment .. and a plethora of eye glass frames! I am so happy with both my contacts .. and my new eye glasses!! Cyndi also took the extra time to make sure that my insurance would cover as much as possible! What a great experience!!

This was my first visit with Dr. Nancherla. I would highly recommend him! He was so friendly and personable. He explained each step of my exam and gave plenty of time to ask and answer questions. His staff was so friendly and made the process of checking in & going over insurance coverage seamless! Cindy went above and beyond and was truly the nicest office staff that I’ve ever encountered! I will definitely continue to see Dr. Nancherla and his amazing staff!
