She has an excellent eye (critical for melanoma screening), extensive experience, and the ability to deal quickly and effectively with any skin issues (I've had several different kinds). She explains in detail what she observes, treatment options, and narrates clearly what she is doing as she performs treatments. She avoids unnecessary "cutting". About Dr. Julide Celebi
Julide Celebi, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, and medical dermatology. She has extensive experience in skin aesthetics utilizing injectable treatments with neuromodulators, fillers, and a wide variety of lasers and energy-based devices. Her focus is on face, neck, upper body, and hand aesthetics. Her approach to patient care is personalized. She combines a refined visual sense with exceptional technical skill to deliver outstanding outcomes. Her goals are maintaining healthy, radiant skin and improving the aging process by restoring volume and firmness, and addressing concerns such as wrinkles, skin tone, freckles, pigmentation, broken capillaries, rosacea, acne scars, and any surface irregularities.
Additionally, she has long term experience and in-depth knowledge in skin cancer diagnosis and management (skin cancer screening, melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma) and has conducted pioneering research in this field for many years. She is unique as she combines her clinical insight and research knowledge to deliver evidence-based skin cancer care.
She completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital. She served as faculty at Columbia University Medical Center (Associate Professor), Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Professor and Vice Chair), and NYU Langone Health (Professor). She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, lectured widely, received grants and awards, and contributed to the editorial process. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, member-elect of the New York Dermatological Society and American Dermatological Association and has been named as top doctor by Castle Connolly.
