Dr. Jyoti Bhat received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. She continued to fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Bhat enjoys all aspects of endocrinology practice. She is interested in comprehensive weight management and is also board-certified in Obesity Medicine. She believes in providing guidance and care for disease states while offering education about preventive care.

What a disappointing experience. I felt as if I was in a factory that was running behind. Dr. Bhat saw me for 5 minutes after waiting for 45 minutes to see her. I explained to her the chronic fatigue I am having among a series of complex endocrine issues. She asked me if I wake up gasping for air I said no. She asked me if I snore, I said no. She said I think you may have sleep apnea, go see my specialist in this building. I'm no doctor, but I don't think sleep apnea is the issue here. It was almost like a funnel of referrals to the sleep specialist in her office. After not discussing with me any of my issues or willing to do anything investigative beyond routine bloodwork, she said see you in 6 months. Endocrine issues are not cut and dry, what a disservice to the community by not truly investigating her community's health issues, lack of bedside manner and overall quality of healthcare.
